I had knee surgery at Northern Regional Hospital and I must say I was treated with the utmost care, kindness, and respect. Dr. Williamson is certainly a highly skilled surgeon. The entire staff was so kind and knowledgeable. All the nurses took excellent care of me. They were all very kind and helpful but I must mention Tess. She was my night nurse and she was special; helped me so much. I highly recommend Northern Regional Hospital for your health care needs.

I want to say... I have suffered for over a year going to ER off and on in severe pain misdiagnosed and now issue has been found I had fixed on Thursday and had complications after surgery wasn't performed here but went back there for a CT on Monday as it needed to be a closer hospital that could communicate with Forsyth the CT came back that I had pancreitis I've been admitted to Forsyth. One Doctor made the whole visit horrible and she should listen to patients when you can't eat and you have results you don't tell someone they are gonna treat you for constipation when that isn't the issue and you don't treat people the way she did over meds you have to take to move. I will have this taken care of once better and I do have all the paper work to show another misdiagnosed visit by her when I already had the CT scan in my hand and her not even knowing I had one done. When your there and hurting so bad and so sick you don't treat someone like she did only makes it worse. I'm still in hospital but my next time we will just drive straight to winston or Radford never again. One employee can bring a business a bad name when you are treating not only your patients this way bit other employees as well that isn't good

If youu2019re pregnant and need checked out cause youu2019re sick, dehydrated anything like that donu2019t go here! I was seen on 04/20 for dehydration due to me having a viral cold. My blood pressure was 146/95 they never mentioned it I seen it in my chart after and they only checked my babies heart beat then gave me fluids and sent me home. Then on 04/22 I was still sick and couldnu2019t keep anything down, my instincts told me to go to my delivering hospital hugh Chatham memorial I told them they exact same symptoms and story as Northern on 04/20 they werenu2019t even concerned with me being sick cause of the viral cold they seen my blood pressure and immediately called my obgyn and he ordered a ultrasound while he came into the hospital. They discovered I was pre eclamptic and already 2 cm dilated with bulging membranes so I had to be rushed by ambulance to atrium health wake forest baptist cause I was only 23 weeks along I was able to keep my son inside me for 3 more days to receive steriods and magnesium before having to have a emergency classical c section preformed. It northern regional would have been concerned by my blood pressure and actually checked on the baby I may have still been a candidate for cerclage and my son wouldnu2019t be a micro preemie in brenners nicu for 3-4 months. This hospital delivers babies too they should know all these things ud83eudd26ud83cudffbu200du2640ufe0f

I have used their emergency room twice, they were great. Dr.Vroom was a hoot. Had a knee replacement in 2019 & they treated me like a Queen. Everyone was nice & helpful. I try & have all testing (CT/Mammo/etc) done locally to support our hospital.

This was my third visit to this hospital. Each visit was for kidney stones. The first one, I was able to pass on my own. However I came in Monday with a kidney stone that I had been fighting for 13 days. But it simply would not pass. I checked into the hospital around 11am in the ER. They ran an ultrasound and discovered the fluid was backing up into my kidneys. They quickly made the decision that I would need surgery to put a stent in. Around 5 ou2019clock that evening they moved me to a room on the surgical floor and began the processes to get me prepared.nI had surgery the next morning at 7 AM. My surgeon, Dr.Lee went over everything with me including the risks of surgery, what he was going to be doing, what that process would look like, and answered all of my questions. He called my mom after surgery to let her know that everything went well and explained to her everything what they did. He was able to break up the stone and get it out and place a stent in. The operating room team put my mind at ease as I was so scared. This was only my 2nd surgery ever.nnI canu2019t speak enough to how thankful I am for the doctors, nurses, CNAu2019s and other staff who helped me through this very painful time. Thank you to Evelyn who listened to me ramble while the pain meds made me feel a little loopy. Thank you to Jammie, my CNA who listened to me cry hysterically after I came back from surgery. She helped me get dressed, helped me go to the bathroom and so much more. I donu2019t remember all of my other nurses names but I am so thankful for them.nnThey made sure my pain was managed well, they brought me snacks and meals and water and even my daily medicationu2019s so that I did not miss those.nnIt can be very scary to have surgery when your parents are so far, but I always felt completely safe. Thank you to everyone!nnYour hard work and passion for what you do doesnu2019t go unnoticed. u2764ufe0fu2764ufe0f
