This was my first time going to a UT urgent care clinic and I am extremely disappointed. From the moment I walked in 14 minutes after they opened, I was told there were 5 people ahead of me and there would be a wait. The attitude of the front office woman was almost like she hoped I would decide to leave. (I expect a wait at an urgent care though). Thankfully I was there for a minor illness. However, after having a strep test done and waiting for the results the only person that ever came back into the room was the medical assistant who gave me discharge papers and started to walk out. I hadnu2019t even had anyone come back into the room to tell me my results or any follow up care and I myself had to ask what my results even were. She said if I needed anything called in to check my pharmacy, but I hadnu2019t even been told if I would need something called in? The communication was lacking and I am a medical provider myself so I feel thatu2019s an important part of patient care. I basically paid a copay to be handed a piece of paper that was supposed to tell me what to do about my illness.

Walked and the woman at the window waited about 5 before she spoke to us. Only 2 people in there. Then ask in a very sarcastic way, tell me what you need, we'll if I knew what I did to my hand I wouldn't be here. Then is like we can't help you. Don't do x-rays in the evening or weekends. Didn't offer for anyone to look at my hand.nJust can't help you and go away. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME TO GO HERE IF YOUR HURT AFTER 5 PM THEY CAN'T HELP YOU!

I would recommend this urgent care if you want to be treated with attitude and be turned away. I showed up 1 hour before close and apologized for doing so, because I know what itu2019s like to work customer service. On top of that wasnu2019t even greeted when I walked in, being the only person there.nEventually I couldnu2019t even get service there because of my insurance and claimed they be liable for fraud.

The care I received here was awesome and so was the staff however the billing system they have is terrible. I moved to another place not too long after my sick visit to this UT urgent care in northshore. I thought my insurance and copay covered everything as I was told I did not owe anything before I left. Come to find out they have been billing me at my old adress for months without me knowing. I got turned over to debt collections for a random unexplained bill. They had my email adress and cell phone number. I wish somone would've given me a courtesey call or email before they turned me into debt collections for such a small bill that I could've paid off easily. Now I have to worry about this affecting my credit.nnThis review is solely negative toward UTurgent care's method of handling debt. You all need to do better at contacting people with outstanding debt!

As many other reviews have shared, the front desk had an attitude with me the minute I walked in. That should have been my sign to leave but it only got worse. Never again. Avoid this place.
