I have seen two providers here. The reason Iu2019m leaving a review is because the one I see currently verbally chastised me for reaching out by online message that I was having serious side effects to a medication increase. I was able to get an appointment with him relatively quickly to address the problem and he told me u201cI donu2019t get paid to answer messagesu201d. He said that verbatim.nAs for positives-nMy son sees Dr. Bob and so far, so good with him. The nurses are great.nBut I sort of canu2019t help but feel uncomfortable being told not to contact the provider when Iu2019m having side effects that need to be addressed urgently, and in such a crass manner. I think Iu2019ll either switch to Dr. Bob myself or consider a different clinic. This same provider (on d different occasion) called in antibiotics with the wrong diagnosis, wrong strength, and wrong directions- which led to a long and tedious evening of me trying to get ahold of both provider and pharmacy over the weekend to sort it out.nBut being told u201cIu2019m not paid to answer messagesu201du2026.I havenu2019t written a review in years and this comment led me to leave a review due to its profound insensitivity.

Iu2019m torn, the origins of this clinic are why we came here in the first place. Unfortunately their care has been subpar as of late. The doctors donu2019t even see you, they just pass you off to NPu2019s. We came in with our newborn for discussions on vaccines and jaundice, our NP had no clue what she was talking about. She had to call in help who said the complete opposite thing she had just told us. We also came specifically to test for jaundice and the machine they had to test it was not charged, they didnu2019t have a replacement battery and then came in 10 min later and said they couldnu2019t get it working. On top of that, the initial measurements taken for weight were wrong due to a faulty machine that looked like it was from a garage sale. This place is kind of a dump, even with how nice the staff is, this place went downhill quick. Again, very sad as we loved it when we started. I wouldnu2019t recommend this place anymore and we are searching for a new clinic for our family. Nobody here dresses professionally either. Every employee we saw outside of our NP was wearing raggedy dirty sweats.

After my daughter was born, we started care at NKH in Eden Prairie and have been seeing Dr Jenni West. She has been kind, welcoming, and understanding with questions that come up. I can tell she cares about my daughteru2019s health but also my own as a mom. We also switched my son to NKH and were able to see Dr Bob. I can tell he cares a lot about his patients and was very respectful. I am glad we made the switch to NKH.

Honestly, I had high hopes for this clinic but they really are not providing good care at all. We came over a year ago for my sonu2019s allergies and just experienced several lapses in care. From the provider not remembering what she had previously instructed us to do (several times) to taking nearly a week to respond to portal messages. The two final straws for me was them canceling a planned follow up and when I rescheduled and saw the provider they said u201cwhy are you hereu201d and when we finally decided to leave there was no follow up from the clinic at all even though we were supposed to be on a plan of care that included check-ins with the provider (allergy drops). We also stopped the allergy drops cause they made my son flare so bad even though they are not supposed to.nnAdditionally, they provided no guidance on vaccines. Just deferred to whatever we wanted to do without having a conversation about our options.

Weu2019ve been patients at NK for 10 years now and cannot express how thankful we are to the entire staff for all the years care. From diagnosing special needs, treating and referring through so many difficult situations, to every day advice, the care has been nothing short of amazing. Weu2019ve been parents for 24 years and this is not your typical clinic, itu2019s a family.
