We recently stayed at The Beach Barn (KH4111), in Kitty Hawk, NC. It was one of our most favorite OBX visits ever!!!nnCarolina Shores was easy to work with, had our rental clean on time & cleaned well, plus they offer the option to reserve the same location for the following year, same week - for a nominal deposit. We'll be back!nnThis cute, little cottage is PERFECT!! Great location - close to everything; clean; decorated beautiful; comfortable furniture & beds; stocked kitchen; and THE VIEW!!! Loved sitting on the deck, enjoying our morning coffee & evening cocktails - and the dolphins entertained us almost daily. And our little dog loved it too!! Don't hesitate booking this home - we're already planning our return visit next year!!!

We just had the best family vacation weu2019ve had in a very long time. After making a two day trip from Wisconsin to Nags Head with 7 people (yes 7) in a car, we arrived to an amazing house that feels just like the ones my family always rented growing up. The house was clean and ready for us when we got there. Aside from hitting the grocery store for the basics (TP, paper towels, etc.) everything was ready for us. Which allowed us to focus more on the family beach fun and relaxing that we came for instead of having to clean a house that shouldu2019ve already been clean. The staff at Carolina Shores was very friendly and helpful. We were so happy with our stay that weu2019ve already reserved the same house again for next year! Thank you for your part in a great vacation!

I rented a wonderful property with Carolina Shores Vacation Rentals for 3 years and everything had seemingly been great during that timeframe. This year, however, the home owner stopped using this company. One of Carolina Shores' ongoing policies is to charge a fee (was $25 and had recently increased to $50) to reserve the property for the same week the following year, and that money would go toward payment for that property the following year. Since the property was no longer available for rental, I called for a refund of my fee and was promptly denied, citing policy, and then hung up on. Perhaps this company's policies are the reason why the homeowner stopped using them as well. I know that I for one will not be using Carolina Shores Vacation Rentals in the future.
