The staff was professional, friendly and caring. I was shown to a room without a long wait and was quickly diagnosed with early bronchitis and was prescribed medication. Iu2019ve been to the clinic three times since they opened and highly recommend this urgent care clinic.

On December 31, 2024, I visited the TGH Urgent Care in Tampa, near Channelside and downtown, due to unusual weakness and throat pain. After my blood pressure was taken and I was examined by a physician assistant (without a title), they kept me for two hours. The assistant recommended a throat swab and assured me that I had nothing to worry about, then sent me home. My insurance was charged over $550 for a simple blood pressure check, the throat swab, and a brief conversation with the physician assistant. It seemed like their main focus was my insurance information, not actual care. I later went to another provider after the New Year and was diagnosed with bronchitis. Itu2019s disappointing to see a well-known institution like TGH taking advantage of people. Itu2019s a sad lesson learned.

The care was great and quick. I appreciated being able to make an appointment online and do all my pre checkin paperwork online and use My Charts. The entire staff was friendly especially Dee and my Nurse Practioner. I appreciated also how my NP took the extra time to explain the medicines to me.

My service was great! I traveled 4 hours to complete the drug and alcohol portion of the hiring process. I checked in and gave my information and was seen 8 minutes after completing my forms. The entire process took less than 30 minutes from walking in until walking out!
