The people at the front are very helpful and friendly. Staff & nurses seem friendly, they just need to minimize some of the extra conversations so that things are more time-efficient. People have to get back to work & may feel anxious and need to hurry. I still had to drive my husband to work & was waiting for them to wrap up the conversations. Otherwise, I would give a 3.5, maybe a 4.

There is a reason there are 22 of us a day. The VA makes it so hard to get care that you give up on life. What good is community care if the VA sends you to the wrong Dr, and when you call to get it fixed, you get the run around for a month? The VA health care system is a joke. Don't get me started on when you actually see a Dr and try to get them to stop looking at a computer and give you an actual physical exam.

It's ok. Somewhat clean. Odd smells in some of the hallways. I like that they have a lactation pod here.Food was ok in the cafeteria. Prices were decent for hospital food.If you need to go to labs on the fourth floor you have to use the elevator by the pharmacy. Otherwise if you use the general elevator it's a pain. We went to the fourth floor and we were told to go back down the general elevator to the ground level walk past the pharmacy and use the west wing elevators. From the west wing elevators we were able to get to labs, which was needed for a covid test before the procedure. This is very confusing and frustrating if you are not familiar with the hospital.

I have been coming here for years, had my first heart stent put in 12 or so years ago. Better than any of my civilian doctors or hospitals. They have been respectful, friendly and hardly ever have to wait more than a few minutes after appointment times.BZ staff and volunteers.

Heads up, the main parking gate off NE 16th St, is under construction, you have to use McMechan Pkwy, the street right to the west of the gate and it will take you around the construction to the parking lots. Also be careful using the clinic elevators the construction guys on the 6th floor use the fire keys to override the elevators and normally there is a single elevator working, instead of the 4 there are supposed to be and they are slow. Normally it is faster to use the main elevators and walk. That and if you have an appointment on the 3rd floor, you can't use the clinic elevators anyways. Those people who complain about the OKC VA system ..... you need to go to Georgia, Alabama or California if you want to complain about VA service. Given the resources the staff have here, they do a wonderful job.
