What an amazing experience! From making an appointment, through check-in, and all the way through the exam, my daughter and I were treated with kindness, gentleness and respect. Even when she was afraid of getting her throat swabbed because it was new, there was no forcing or pushing, just honest gentle explanation and a quick process. She smiled afterward realizing it wasnu2019t a big deal and she overcame a fear. Both the doctor and RN were wonderful! Plus we were seen and diagnosed quickly. We love this clinic! In fact, the wish around our household is that we he could be our primary care doctor for our whole family!!! Thank you, One Urgent Care!

Edited to add:I had an appointment here recently and again received the best of care. I appreciate the diligence and knowledge of Dr Mirzaie-Amirabadi. We are lucky to have One Urgent Care in our neighborhood.Original review:I took my kiddo to be seen at OneCare today as there were no available appointments at our pediatricians office yesterday or today.Location & Parking: The location is very convenient, located on Juanita Dr in Finn Hill. Access is easy and convenient for residents of Kirkland, Juanita, Finn Hill, Kenmore and beyond. We arrived at lunch hour, the Mexican restaurant was buzzing and there were cars everywhere, so OneCare having reserved parking spots were the first of many positive things about our experience.Entrance / Reception: We entered a spotless, well lit, spacious foyer, with lots of space between seats and even a little padded floor section for kids. The receptionist was friendly & knowledgeable, the registration process simple and, best of all, walk-ins were being accepted, no appointment necessary. Yes!!Insurance: Billing was so easy! While I completed the shortest, large post-it sized patient information form, my ID and insurance card were scanned and details entered into their system. Once I had completed the form, the check-in process was finished and we were told we were next to be seen. As of today, the following insurance is accepted: Premera,Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Regence, BlueShield, First Choice Health, United Healthcare, Community Health Network of Washington, Aetna Medicare Solutions, Humana, Meritain Health, Medicaid, Tricare, Medicare, Pacific Source Health Plans, LifeWise, Aetna, Wellpoint. Wow!!!Wait time: The medical assistant called us within 5 minutes and showed us into a spotless, well lit, uncluttered exam room (I mean you'd expect nothing less but it has to be highlighted all the same as not every clinic is made equal!). The total appointment was probably 15min. When we arrived I think there were 2 patients being seen, as we were leaving 1 person was being lead to an exam room as another was walking in the door. There seems to be a steady stream of people using the practice, with staff working very cohesively ensuring little to no wait time.Staff: The medical assistant was really friendly. I really appreciated being told that his questions would be directed to my child for them to answer and mom can fill in the blanks, rather than have me talk for my kid. Great way to encourage independence and make the patient feel heard / acknowledged. Once all details were provided, we were told the Dr would be right in. I was expecting that to mean 5ish minutes later. Nope! The Dr walked in almost immediately, attended to my child in a professional, calm, kind, easy going, receptive manner, answered our questions comprehensively (without giving a sense of rushing us out the door), wrote a prescription and said goodbye. The medical assistant returned with all necessary documentation, prescription already sent to our preferred pharmacy and suggested calling them to check when it would be filled rather than wait to be contacted. (Great suggestion, p/u was ready within 20min of leaving OneCare).We are extremely lucky to have this gem in our neighborhood and I hope this review encourages locals to go here rather than endure long wait times at other urgent care clinics nearby. We will definitely return if the need arises. Thank you to the OneCare team for a great experience!PS This is an independent review, I was not asked to write it. We were grateful to receive the care we needed promptly. We had been to two other urgent cares and the ER, with hours-long waits at each. We were glad not only to be seen right away, but that the doctor was able to administer stitches proficiently and with kindness toward my 8-year-old. Thank you so much. We will recommend you lots!
