Iu2019m a traveling nurse at OSF Hospital in Peoria, I work on the Acute Neuro Floor. During orientation, we had to watch a video on different cultures, background and races,. Let me tell you, that was a waste of time, the nurses on that unit is the most prejudice group of nurses I have worked with over 20 years of my career.I pray they donu2019t treat the Black patients like they treat myself, a Black nurseu2026 other then that, itu2019s. a Beautiful hospital.

Called for a refferal several times. It was not sent. When I tried to contact the Dr. office the person answering the phone told Monday was not a good day to call and she could not transfer me to the Dr office because they were taking care of patients. She told me to calm down and then put me on hold. No one ever answered. I will cancel my appointment with my cardiologist and go to the Dr office to get a referral I can hand carry.

It is a good thing OSF has some fine Doctors, APN's and Nurses because their phone system and administrative personnel are terrible. I just spent 45 minutes wating to get throught to their billing department at Danville IL. I have had numerous problems also contacting doctors offices at the multi-specialty group (formerly PolyClinic) also in Danville. One Doctor there actually told me best thing to do instead of calling was to come directly to office. Despite numerous conversations with the manager there starting back in March 2020 nothing has improved. OSF state that they care about patients but that does not appear to be true. There is no customer complaint to contact about these issues that I can find. It's like they just do not care!

They take way too long to answer any questions. OSF does not care about employees anymore. Since the Sisters stop running things they are only worried about money and not the people in OSF.
