One of my friends recommended the clinic, and this was one of the important reasons to chose where to live. As many other families, daycare place, good pediatrics, distance to a work place are three important factors to chose where to live. I expect pediatric staff, whether doctors, nurses, staff at the reception know how serious families are, when coming to the clinic.nnPediatricians and nurses I encountered (that was before the pandemic) were excellent. Although during the busy visit, they take time in answering my questions. After all, it is about the life of my child, and we really depend on pediatricians' and nurses' advice.nnMy rating was deducted just because, till there was a change in a person who was seemingly in charge of receptionists, I had a sad experience with them. I was desperate to know about a vaccination of the baby, and a receptionist was not helpful, not even to connect me to the nurse; her behavior really hurt me. It took me for a while till finally I speak to a nurse (who was just behind the receptionist) who could kindly answer my questions, and gave me a relief.nnHowever, after the take over of the staff at the receptionist at some points, I saw a real change - - Receptionists who understand the desperateness and seriousness of the families.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Christine Stern. My child was coughing and vomiting in the morning, and after waiting for half an hour, Dr. Stern finally saw us. She only listened to my childu2019s lungs and said everything was fine. She didnu2019t check blood oxygen, temperature, or even his throat, and just recommended saline. After we left the clinic, my childu2019s cough worsened, and he developed a fever. It felt like a completely pointless visit and a waste of time. The other doctors weu2019ve seen before at this clinic have always been great, but this experience was very frustrating.

Dr. Shi has been a gift to my daughter and family. She is understanding, patient, kind, friendly, on time, informative, non-judgmental, and explains everything so you know next steps as parents. I couldn't say better things about her. A fabulous doctor! Every parent hopes to find a doctor like her for their child and we are so thankful for her support and guidance with our daughter. Additionally, the front desk staff are responsive and always willing to help. The nurses are bubbly and very welcoming. Overall, this office is a gem.

I recently had visited Pediatric Associate of NYC for routine checkups for my 16-year-old son. As he is leaving for Australia for a year, it was his first visit to a pediatrician in the United States. Our experience at the center, particularly with Dr. Paula, was nothing short of outstanding.nnDr. Paula displayed the utmost professionalism and expertise throughout our appointment. She took the time to listen attentively to my son's medical history and any concerns we had. Her caring demeanor immediately put my son at ease, helping to create a comfortable and trusting environment.nnDuring the visit, Dr. Paula thoroughly examined and discussed his development in line with his age. Her insights and guidance were invaluable, reassuring us that my son's growth and health were on track. The comprehensive advice she provided demonstrated her extensive experience and commitment to her patients' well-being.nnDr. Paula recommended some necessary blood work, emphasizing the importance of preventive care. Her attention to detail and dedication to ensuring all bases are covered left us with a deep sense of confidence in her abilities as a pediatrician.nnAfter a couple of days, Dr. Paula took the initiative to personally review the results of the blood work and promptly reached out to my wife to share the outcomes. This proactive approach exemplified her commitment to open communication and going above and beyond to provide exceptional care.nnI highly recommend both Pediatric Associates of NYC and Dr. Paula for anyone seeking exceptional pediatric care.

We had our First Visit with my son today and honestly I cannot stress how wonderful the staff, nurses and Dr. Stern were. It was by far the best doctors visit my 22 month old has ever had. As a mom I felt heard, and got all the information I needed and more. I had a lot of anxiety going in and I left just really happy with the choice of practice and Physician. a truly Great experience for what I anticipated would be difficult to day the least.
