Dr. Merz was great! I had originally scheduled an appointment for myself for strep throat, and got a call on the way to pick my son up from school. She was able to see him at the same time I was there, as well as numb my daughter's ear and dig an earring back out of it. We were there a little over an hour, and we were all seen and it was a very pleasant experience. My daughter didn't even complain about pain. I would definitely recommend!

I arrived at the Shawnee location at 7:45 PM, on 4/7/2025, and the window shades were already down. I pulled on the door handle and found that the door was locked. I tried knocking and no one came to the door. Not too long after I went back to my car, the entire staff came out the door. It was still not 8:00 PM. When I confronted them, they argued with me about whether the door had been locked or not. Then they asked if I could come back at 9:00 AM the next day.nI needed URGENT Care, not NEXT DAY Care!nVery poor service experience. I will drive out of my way to NOT use this facility even tho it is very convenient to where I live.

The first time, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. The second time, I assumed it was just a bad day. But after the third time, itu2019s definitely a pattern. Theyu2019ve been consistently late or behind schedule, and not just a little but by 20 plus minutes. It makes you wonder why they bother offering appointment time slots at all. Also, donu2019t be surprised if the physician googles your condition during the visit. Haha that was a new one. Overall, not the best experienceu2014and certainly not the best in the area. They only really want work related injuries because they can rack up the bill.

The receptionist was not helpful at all. Their billing department, or the other lady, wouldnu2019t call to verify insurance. We had out of state insurance backed by Aetna. They wouldnu2019t call to verify, they just said no, you donu2019t have insurance we accept. We called our insurance company and was told they do accept Aetna and they will take your insurance, but again, their billing lady couldnu2019t be bothered to make a phone call.

Great service. Was in and out very quickly. And was able to get some relief having a sore throat! A lot of urgent cares always say u201citu2019s viral, let it run its courseu201d but this Dr gave me antibiotics and my throat was better after the 2nd dose, where if I went somewhere else, Iu2019d probably still be in pain.
