On vacation and randomly picked this clinic and so glad we did. What I thought were bug bites ended up being an allergic reaction to something I ate. Say hello to Prednisone shot and meds.The staff and Dr. Wu were very nice and helpful.Highly recommend if you need urgent care.

I went to see Dr Wu after having a lingering cough with no other significant symptoms for 10 days. He was very professional and super thorough. He listened to all my concerns and asked me a lot of questions trying to determine what can be causing my symptoms.He prescribed me meds and even ordered an X-ray to rule out anything serious.I was also able to message him after my visit to ask any further questions I had.I visit Honolulu at least once a year, and although I hope I donu2019t get sick during my stay, itu2019s a relief to know I can see dr Wu if I do end up getting sick.The nurse and the receptionist were also very professional and super nice!I highly recommend Dr Wu and his team!

I'm my personal opinion, Dr Wu is the most professional, experienced and knowledgeable doctor in the State of Hawaii. His medical background is extensive including works throughout the world. My family and I are very grateful for all of his services through the years.Being next to Ala Moana mall, his office is convenient with lots of parking. There are Diagnostic Lab, Clinical Lab Opthalmology, ENT, Orthopedics, Cardiology and Radiology located in the same building. So there's no need to drive from one place to the other after a visit. Even my dentist is in the same building! So easy peasy, especially for my 94 year old father.Superb staff! Highly recommended. Thank you Dr Alan Wu and Island Pacific Medical Center!

Love this place! Conveniently located in the Ala Moana Medical Building (above Bank of Hawai`i). The building itself has ample parking; and the office is located on the 4th Floor (top parking level) so you can even skip the elevator altogether & just walk right in from your car!Dr. Alan Wu was the Founder of Doctors of Waikiki in the Sheraton Princess Ka`iulani Hotel. He was born in Taipei & moved to Hawai`i at age 7. Even though he was ESL, he has zero Taiwanese accent while speaking English & his fluency & transition between each language spoken is flawless. Dr. Wu can speak/read/write ENGLISH, TAIWANESE, MANDARIN & CANTONESE (plus, he is fluent in Pidgin English. lol).He is a member of the American Medical Association (Professional) & the National Army Aviation Association (Lifetime Membership). Dr. Wu served in the U.S. Army & received one of the highest awards: a U.S. Military Bronze Star. He has received multiple military & medicinal awards; including, but not limited to, the Aviation Medicine of the Year Award in 2016. He was a Hospitalist, Assistant Clinic Chief & Department Chief; not to mention, Head Brigade Flight Surgeon for the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade & 25th Infantry Division. He was also Chief Medical Officer of Forward Operations Bases in Afghanistan.If you have the time to chat with him, he is a pretty fascinating guy! Funny, too!I was Dr. Wu's patient at Doctors of Waikiki from the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020 onward. He has always shown the utmost respect, courtesy, professionalism, attentiveness to detail & care. He is a wealth of knowledge & anyone who has the pleasure of being seen by him is a lucky patient indeed!Don't let the words Urgent Care deter you from coming in here. You do not only need to come in here with an Emergency. Dr. Wu is an amazing PCP (Primary Care Physician) if you want an honest, trustworthy doctor whom you can come to with any of your health inquiries or needs.I recently started to take the Ozempic & Mounjaro Shots for Weight Loss. My starting weight was 151 lbs. & I am at 133 today! Down almost 20 lbs.! - I have, honest to God, only been taking the shot. No exercise. The weight just whittles away on its own! It's miraculous! This is the first time in my life that I have ever been able to leave food on my plate. I am normally the person who orders five (5) entru00e9es just for herself; and finishes them. There is no mood change. No cracky feeling like when you take Adderall or Ritalin. No cotton mouth. No negative side affects (for me, at least). - I would like to add... that when you first see the weight come off, it is really motivational. You want to make better choices for yourself because you see the progress. Having looked at the scale for so long and seeing no change; you begin to fall into a depression (even if you aren't aware of it). Huge mental change for me after I lost the first four (4) pounds in my 1st week! ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! 11/10 WOULD RECOMMEND!!!My goal weight is 120 lbs. If you're reading this & you live on O`ahu, you should sign-up too!Aside from the Ozempic/Mounjaro shots, I also get my BIRTH CONTROL here. I am a HUGE FAN of Depo Provera (Birth Control Shot). You get one (1) shot every three (3) months. That is only four (4) times a year! Super low maintenance. I don't know the exact science, but the shot essentially tricks your body into thinking you are pregnant so you don't release any eggs. No eggs, therefore no ovulation (meaning NO PERIODS!!!). I was a super athlete in high school so this was a GOD SEND. There are many different alternatives & everyone's body responds differently; so please ask Dr. Wu for all of your options & choose the birth control option that is right for you!What are you waiting for?
