Up until a year ago I loved this doctor's office. Over the last year everything has declined though. Getting appointments is difficult, you cannot get through to the office, and one of the PAs there to replace doctor is terrible at his job and forgets everything you tell him! But I still have been going there because of the medications I take and I really like Dr Orow himself... (when he is there), and I kept hoping he would come back. Of course he isn't really there anymore as I've seen him only once in the past year and a half. But today is the reason my review went all the way down to the one star! If I could give it zero or a negative 1 star I would! I went into the doctor's office today with a list a page and a half long of symptoms that I have been going through that are mostly related and quite life-threatening. Relating mostly to my heart and my sodium level and my medications that they are giving me that shouldn't be taken together! The nurse took me to the room and asked me how I was doing and I said not well. She said well, is it more than two things you have to talk about? And I said kind of, yeah. She said well it can only be two things and I've told you this before. And I said well this is literally life and death, and she said well you can only pick two things what's more important? And I said well then I'm going to need a doctor's appointment again with a doctor next month instead of a short appointment. And she said if you think you can see the doctor more often than I can then you are sadly mistaken (she also sees Dr. Orow) and I said well I have to. And she said do you want to see Dana the manager? I said I guess so, and when she left the room I pulled out my phone and hit the voice recorder because I felt like I obviously needed to start protecting myself and was actually kind of mad I hadn't been already. Dana came in the room the manager, she asked me what was going on. I told her what the nurse said and the infliction she used, and the manager said I know that nurse she's a good Christian woman and she wouldn't say that I don't believe you! And I said I'm a good Christian woman too I'm Lutheran as a matter of fact and I'm not lying to you. And she said to me I don't know what you would do and I said well I'm not lying. Moving on, I started talking about what I needed and she said well we only have 15 minute appointments! To which I said I was told you have long and short appointments and that I've been going to the short appointments for 3 months and the long appointments every 3rd month. She said we don't have long appointments they're all 15 minutes. And then she said what happened next...and I told her what the nurse said if you think you can see the doctor before me then you're sadly mistaken. This time I omitted how she said it and just said it in a flat monotone way. Just to be safe. She looked at me and said she wouldn't say that you just told me that she was nice every other time. I said I can rewind the recording I'm doing right now and show you that I didn't say that. To which she said you're breaking the law by recording this! And I said no it's my doctor's appointment and I have the right to protect myself. She then said I'm no longer a patient and that she's calling the police on me if I don't leave and followed me around the doctor's office when I went to tell the receptionist to talk to the doctor for me. and then I talked to another patient who mouthed to me it was my right to record my own doctor's appointment. I then left and called the lawyer and made this post immediately this happened today! Do not go to the doctor because the lawyer I called, the receptionist there went to doctor Orow and said they personally ripped her off for money as a paitent!! The World Isn't that small guys!!! patients should just beware! I really hope Dr Orow sees this and knows what's happening at his doctor's office eventually :-(

Until recently I was a patient of Dr. Orow's for 7+ years and I can no longer recommend him or his office staff like I used to be able to do.The many problems in his office steadily increased over the years. Dr. Orow used to be very compassionate and empathetic but he is now keeping a very sporadic schedule and his priorities have greatly changed from his patients' welfare to how much income he can get out of his patients. The office manager, who has been there the entire time I was a patient, has contributed greatly to the chaotic inefficiency of Dr. Orow's practice. Her nepotism has meant several of her family members have been hired, her lax management has allowed some employees to get away with not doing their jobs while she has used and abused other very dedicated employees who go way above and beyond to help the patients' needs. The phone system problems have not been fixed for well over a year and so the patients have to constantly try and try, sometimes for hours, to get through to somebody.Patients have to continuously make calls just to remind the staff that their meds have not yet been called in or that their much needed referrals have not been properly processed. These office problems were horribly increased when several retiring doctors' practices were bought by Dr. Orow, thus greatly increasing his number of patients, but the number of his staff was not increased. So the minor irritations of the chaos and inefficiency of his office became glaringly major problems.I was unable to post the link here to the public report issued in November 2023 by the State of Michigan's Board of Professional Licensing. You will have to search for it under Dr. Nicholas Orow Complaints and Reviews. But Dr. Orow was fined and his medical license and ability to practice medicine is now under probation for several reasons:Failure to Comply with a Subpoena; Incompetence; Negligence - Impaired Conduct, Practice or Condition. The fact that he knew these problems were being investigated by the State for months, if not a year, before this report was released and has done NOTHING to improve things in his practice and in his office is very troubling to me...as it should be to you.

Absolutely the worse place ever. I have called over 30 times in last 2 weeks to have my new BP meds adjusted and Absolutely no answer. 3 weeks ago I called 20 and 5 different times they were going to get with doctor and call back. That was 3 weeks ago! Not a place to waste time money or your concerns. Sad!

Dr. Orow your staff is not doing there job. They fire the patient for there mistakes. They never got my scripts in on time, when I called them on this after 4 months of them screwing up they fired me. Crystal spencer and the gal that calls in scripts. I like dr. Orow but you need to look at your employees for the problems your office is having. Unanswered phone calls etc.
