I just had my gall bladder removed at the surgery center and it was an a+ experience. The care was superb and the next day when I looked over my discharge care I found the most thoughtful surprise. Those caring folks went above and beyond and signed a get well card! Very rare to find that level of care! Thank you all for the wonderful care you provide!

I'll preface this review by saying the nurses have been wonderful. That said, the communication between nurses, staff and especially doctors seems to be nonexistent. We've been waiting days for several tests to be done after they were supposedly scheduled. A neck brace was promised and also ordered days ago, but still hasn't been received. When you call the nurses line you only get a busy tone. When you finally talk to an operator, they only connect you after you have expressed immense frustration. And then, when you finally talk to a nurse they blame everything on the doctors. I have a damn good feeling that it is the lack of communication between the doctors and staff, not JUST the doctors fault as the staff blames. Harrisburg hospital sucks!

My daughter just was here for a uti issue and sheu2019s 7 months and not Covid or flu related and they put her in this room to cath bag to test her urine and this person Zachu2019s info was still on the board. Wtf. Heu2019s positive and now you are doing an open non mask procedure to my daughter in the same room. No to mention Iu2019m pretty sure thatu2019s not okay to leave his information. Brought it up to the nurse and it was like it was no big deal. Also normal pediatric comes down or we go up to get that test instead we had a nurse to it and jab her like 15 times before getting it in.This hospital has gone down hill even whenever you advocate for your child the protocol theyu2019ve told you they follow. Itu2019s crazy. Watch out for Dr.labibity on the picu floor he almost killed my daughter she sat at 22% oxygen and less four hours as he silenced the alarms saying it was a faulty machine, thank god for the nurses who worked the next shift they saved her. She was only a couple days old but a month early due to complications. He is the worst.

I had a thyroidectomy here on Wednesday. There were a few emergencies that had my surgery pushed back several hoursu2026HOWEVER, the staff was amazing. Every person was kind, open, and friendly. When my anxiety got to high they even had aroma therapy while I was in pre-op waiting. My Dr. stopped by between emergencies to ensure I was okay and let me know I wasnu2019t forgotten and every step of my experience was positive. I will admit that this hospital is old and shows its age. The waiting room was full and looked like it was going to suck on all levels, but reality was that the staff and care was 100% top notch. Once I was recovering and put in a room, my room was spotlessly clean, the nurses and aids were super helpful and friendly, and I can not compliment my experience enough. Thank you to everyone who cared for me so well!
