I had a really positive experience with PVHC - specifically with Ashley Engesser, Miriam Hughes, Dr. Clarkson and all the nurses that assisted with labor and delivery and all the lactation nurses that assisted us. When my husband and I moved back to the area I wasnu2019t 100% sure on where I should go for my OBG appointments. I started with Ashley and Miriam and felt my experience with them was excellent. They always made me feel comfortable with each appointment and truly appreciate them and how personable they were with me. We previously moved from Gillette, where I had only met with the nurses and not the person that would be delivering my baby.nnI felt a lot of peace during my experience when my labor wasnu2019t progressing as it should, the nurses and Ashley, the midwife who was on call, very calmly handled everything with care and consulted with me through the whole process. I ended up having an unplanned c-section, I had no idea what that was going to be like nor was I really prepared for it but Dr. Clarkson, Ashley and the nurses taking care of me during that shift were excellent in caring for me and helped me feel comfortable through it all.nnI canu2019t remember all the nurses names but Kelsey our night shift nurse was excellent and super sweetu2026 we appreciate her and her kindness towards us and our baby. We love Pepper, she helped us out a lot. Sheu2019s super informative about babies and lactation, along with me being a new mom helped me feel comfortable in my new role. Danielle helped me a lot when it came to figuring out breastfeeding and pumping. We wish there was more we could do to express our gratitude to all the nurses who assisted us during our time before, during and after our baby was born. We met with RayAnn before the baby as we had a tour of the hospital (where we would give birth) and over lactation. She was also super informative about lactation and breastfeedingu2026 babiesu2026 etc. She was very fun to talk to and very nice as well.nnDr. Clarkson was very kind and I felt he did an excellent job with my c-sectionu2026 I personally did not have any complications with the surgery itself and my healing has gone very well.nnDr. Kelly Clarkson is also our baby doctor and I briefly met him as I was being stitched up from the c-sectionu2026 I was slightly out of itu2026 but our interactions with him after was very good.nnMy whole entire experience was very positive. I feel very thankful for how everything went, from a person who struggles with lots of worry and anxiety, it all went very smoothly. Iu2019m very overwhelmed with gratitude for my midwife, Ashley. For Dr. Clarkson and the c-section experience. For all the nurses who took care of us along with our baby! We are thankful for such a great team during our labor and delivery experience.

Too long didnu2019t read; Despite a rough pregnancy, my experience with these people was incredible. I highly recommend Dr.Nicole Comer, Leslie, and all of the labor and delivery staff.nnI had a bumpy ride during my pregnancy. Where other hospitals failed me and honestly had terrible bedside manners, Powell really pulled through for me. Most importantly, Dr. Comer was there every step of the way. She answered all my questions and didnu2019t make me do anything I was uncomfortable with. She always took the time to really give me an in depth description of every option we had. When I was scared, she gladly helped me monitor the situation for my sake and she genuinely seemed to care herself. The days she was at the office late and called me to make sure I wouldnu2019t be worried all night. She always had me prepared for the next step depending on the direction the situation took.nnShe sent me to a specialist to monitor the babyu2019s growth and make sure we were on track. I canu2019t possibly thank her enough for the countless things her and Nurse Leslie did for me through the pregnancy. If I didnu2019t have such good, genuine people helping me, it would have been much harder.nnThe staff in the Labor and delivery wing were also incredible. Cassy really got me through the C-section prep while u201cAndyu201d the Anesthesiologist kept a goofy mood in the room which I truly appreciated.nnIn the end we had a happy and healthy mom and baby, I donu2019t think it could have gone any better.nnI may have spelled names wrong, forgive me as I meant to write this sooner. You folks know who you are and I genuinely thank you for all the compassion. It takes something special to do what you all do!

I saw the new Women's Nurse Practitioner/Midwife- Miriam Hughes recently and she was AMAZING! Very friendly, attentive and spent plenty of time getting to know me and addressing my visit reasons. Would definitely recommend for Women's concerns!

Caution. If you need a hospital, bypass this one. On the morning of 2-19-2024 I was treated at fast track by Erin Mischka. I explained my symptoms and that I had been treated 8 days prior for influenza a. I told her that I was prone to get pheunmia. She examined me very quickly, listened to my lungs and told me to go home and take Tylenol or advil. Nothing that she could do.

I have always received great care from the doctors and nurses and PVHC. Dr. Comer is a stand out among her peers, love her, love her, love her! I've always had wonderful nurses, especially those who cared for my son and I after I gave birth.
