Providence has to be in the top 10 worst hospitals in the Kansas. In July of 2023 I was transferred fromnSt Johnu2019s I was brought in because of chest pains. I had fluid on my heart and lungs which was brought on by fluid on my heart and lungs. I was septic with a very high white blood cell count. Was given a heart cath was decided my heart was okay. Was sent home within 4 days. Received no meds no after care program and no answer as to why I was septic. After returning home spent the next month on antibiotics. One year later July of 2024 was on a trip I was once again put in the hospital was septic and had pneumonia spent 19 days in the hospital at this time it was discovered that o have a bacterial infection called sudimonas providence never even spent the time to investigate. There is very good belief that I had sudimonas that year. Mine is antibiotic resistant and hard to get under control. Providenceu2019s main goal was to get me out the door would not recommend for anyone who had a to go there.

Was very pleased with Providence Medical Center. From checking in for a procedure, to being dismissed was excellent care. Radiology was very professional and courteous. Food was also very good. I personally had an awesome nurse that listened and heard me. My physician, Dr. K and his staff are superior. All in all my overall care was A+!

People were very pleasant to talk with during my 4 hours I was there for tests! The only negative I would say was the guy who called to tell me about everything that was going on and said I had to have a $300 copay which was awfully high so I called my insurance company and sure enough my copay was only $35. They wanted me to pay the balance of the procedure upfront and instead of saying that they thought if they said copay I would just pay it. Hate dishonesty in the medical field especially! But really overall it was a great experience!
