There were 5 people ahead of us and we waited about an hour 45min.nThe RN on duty was amazing! He chatted about my daughteru2019s medical issues and was extremely personable. If my rating was based on him, it would get 5 stars!nThe PA on duty was not very friendly, miserable to be working and seemed to want us out right away. My daughteru2019s rapid strep came back negative and he asked if I wanted it sent out for culture, fully knowing she had been exposed to strep. He didnu2019t feel the need to test for flu/covid bc u201cthey are a virus and she will just need to wait it out anyway because you canu2019t treat virusesu201d. I found him to be impersonal and not wanting to deal with a pediatric patient, even though my daughter is 12.nSo my reasoning for the low grading is due to the wait time and the PA, NOT the RN!

I live in Bethlehem and have St. Luke's Urgent Care closer to my home, but Iu2019ve consistently chosen to visit this location because of the exceptional care I receive every time. From the front desk staff to the medical professionals, everyone here has been incredibly responsive, helpful, and efficient. I truly appreciate how quickly they address my kids needs and make the experience as seamless as possible. Itu2019s clear they prioritize patient care and comfort. For any non-emergency medical needs, I will always make the extra effort to come to this location u2013 itu2019s well worth it.

I was pleasantly surprised when I visited the St Luke's Care Now on Rt 309 in Center Valley. The building still looks brand new, or at least the part I saw. You register at a kiosk when you arrive and then have a seat. I was called up to the desk in less than 5 min. The receptionist was very helpful, knowledgeable, and so sweet and friendly as well. I again only waited a few minutes until a nurse to me to one of the rooms to ask some questions and take my vitals. Again a very pleasant and friendly young woman. She got me set up and the doctor literally passed her as she walked out. The doctor was friendly and knowledgeable and helped me and sent me home. He told me he would send a needed prescription to the pharmacy so it would be ready for me on the way home. And it was, which was so convenient. Everything was speedy, efficient and pleasant. It was the nicest visit I have ever experienced at a walk-in, after hours medical facility.nThe only problem was the parking lot. The handicapped spaces were confusing to me. There was snow from a few days prior, so the path from the handicapped spaces to the entrance was either buried in the snow? Or just placed in the farthest spot from the entrance. I am guessing it was the snow. But being in a wheelchair and having to wheel myself up a bit of an incline and through a slushy mess was just horrible. Who does your snow removal?

If you have an infant or toddler still in diapers I would not recommend this location they do not have supply's for urine samples for them and try and make you alone get samples without offering any help. Tell me how one person can hold an 1yr old in the air who's upset and fighting over an adult toilet urine catcher while holding a cold compress to their belly trying to make them pee. Seriously ridiculous. Staff completely not helpful or even showed they cared that I was struggling and my 1 yr old was screaming. In 30 min they didnt even come it to see how it was going. We left without sample or even checking out I just walked out with her. Ridiculous!!! If you can't care for an infant how about don't waist parents time and tell them up front to go somewhere else for the baby and parents sake. We were there for 2 hrs with no help whatsoever nor even recommended where to go. Complete waist and my daughter was worse off.

Everytime I come here for myself or my children itu2019s because I canu2019t get an appointment with my primary care. Last year, I was really sick and needed stronger antibiotics and they wouldnu2019t give me anything. I ended up just waiting a long time for an appointment with my primary Dr and then was prescribed stronger antibiotics which made me better. The same thing happened with my daughter this year. I will say that they are efficient with getting patients in. Theyu2019re friendly. I just feel like they donu2019t listen and donu2019t make the right call for proper care.
