Never been to such a dirty, unhygienic hospital in my life, and Iu2019ve been to a few. They seem like they need to re train their staff to properly clean and disinfect. One of the most basic task. I donu2019t fault the staff but their leadership for failing them.nnWait times are to be expected as normal. I think I was there for about 2 hours waiting, got called to take vitals and questions, wait some more, finally called to a room. Wait, saw a nurse and answered questions, wait, saw another nurse, answered the same question, wait, another nurse asking about stuff that they should of taken down at the start of the visit. Saw a doctor, ask the same question the nurse askedu2026 Iu2019m like is there not a chart for me not being madeu2026 and their was a good bit of trash in my room. If thatu2019s the stuff I can see, I wonder how much of the stuff I canu2019t see is thereu2026nnUpon discharge, the nurse then came back asking if I was ready to go. NO ONE CAME BACK TO TELL ME WHAT THE ISSUE I HAD WAS or WHAT THE TREATMENT PLAN WAS! The nurse then ask u201cdid the doctor came back to explain the situation, I said no and she then told me the rundown. So much for communication in this hospital. Get it together yu2019all.

I had an MRI done today 5/17/2025 and although I was scared the MRI tech Kendra Robinson and her Associate Emma Hodges made it so pleasant and I felt so peacefulu2026.. Iu2019m so thankful for them and the care and empathy they showed me which allowed me to relax and it was over before I knew itu2026u2026 Thank you so much

I was at Scotland memorial with my daughter and I just wanna say hands down the nest nurse's and doctor treated my daughter they all were so nice and caring and made sure we both were comfortable u2764ufe0f I can't thank them enough for everything they done for us last night

Scotland provided superb care of my mother, to the point she said she didn't want to leave. Staff was professional, attentive, caring, and compassionate, 10 out of 10, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Iu2019m alive no thanks to Scotland Memorial Hospitalu201du201d. EMTu2019s transported me to Scotland Memorial Hospital emergency room. The race was on to test everything they possibly could. After six hours, they could tell me nothing, which was wrong with me. They asked me to come back the next day for follow up testing.nI admit, Iu2019m not that bright so I went back. Six more hours of highly questionable testing which concluded in some guy saying itu2019s probably a virus ( viruses last 3 to 5 days not 8-9-10-11 days..)nThere didnu2019t seem to be a real interest in why I was there. FYI I had major diarrhea for eight days nine days the follow up.nI had no energy and every muscle in my body ached.nOn day 11 I smartened up and went to McLeod Hospital in Dillon SC. A smaller hospital with caring staff.nAfter a few tests, they wanted to admit me overnight because my potassium from all the diarrhea was down to 152 and itu2019s supposed to be above 400.nThey hooked me up to a potassium drip, and after 20 minutes I felt much much better.nThe staff cares about their patients and worked with me all night to make me better.nOne problem with low potassium, it can affect your heart. No thanks to Scottland Memorial Hospital. I did not have a heart attack.nThe staff at Scotland Memorial Hospital sent me a bill. The staff at McLeod Hospital sent me a get well card that thanked me for trusting them to meet my needs.nScottland has endless testing equipment to run up your bill, but nobody qualified to give you an answer or help you back on the right track.nJust my 2cents
