An IV needed to be started for the procedure I was having and I told the nurse I could be a difficult stick. She was very reassuring and took her time looking for an adequate vein. She made 2 attempts without success and went to get assistance. This was much appreciated. The second nurse assisting her was able to access the vein. During my procedure both nurses were present and very supportive. As a retired nurse myself, I really appreciated the care. Thank you nurses in the Cardiac Care Stress area for your great care.

It was the best experience I've EVER had up there. It was a Fri night and not a soul was in the waiting room. I got pulled back to the best room, 14, within 30 min. The only complaint is they didn't address my excruciating pain until many hours into my stay so I requested nothing stronger than torodol b/c I would soon be discharged and had to drive. Hopefully this is a turn for the better SGMC. 98% of staff has always been delightful so that has never been a complaint. It was always the wait time that was the issue. I was packed and fully prepared to sit in the waiting room for no less than 12 hours like every other time. I sure hope this is a sign of things to come.

The ER waiting times were ridiculous. I cannot blame that on the staff. The ER lobby staff and triage nurses were amazing and helpful. They were answering questions as they could and checking vitals every so often. However, once shift change happened, I was moved to a room quickly and care was immediately given by an amazing young nurse, Cadon. He went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. Dr. Kenny did a wonderful job making sure all tests were ordered and a complete step by step of what would happen was given. Once admitted, they got me up to a room on 4 west. I had three amazing nurses (Latvia, Robin, and, Sarah-I think) and techs who once again went over and above. The dining staff member who brought my food was absolutely precious and so kind. The NP who took care of me was amazing and answered most questions before I could ask them. She was thorough with testing to rule everything out. She answered all questions before discharge. The case manager who came in at discharge was super nice and willing to make sure I had everything I need.

My labor and delivery experience was so amazing Dr Yardbrough and Dr Temples were wonderful during my c section experience! They took the time during my stay to come in and check on me! Answered any of my questions or concerns! I will always recommend them to anyone there bed side manners are AWESOME! The staff of labor and delivery was also amazing they really do make your day and always go above and beyond ud83dudc9c

Some of the staff are absolutely amazing! Some of the staff are honestly awful. The nurse was great so was PT and OT. The tech however was awful and extremely rude. The soap machine in room never worked. The bathtub was dirty and the room smelt like urine. The dinner tray stayed in the room till nearly 10am the next morning. Like most places there is good and bad. However the 4th floor at SGMC is somewhere I hope to never visit again.
