I am currently on vacation from Tennessee and had a cough that I couldnu2019t shake. I made an appointment online as we were coming back from Wilmington with no complications. I was able to enter all my information easily online with no trouble at all. When I arrived at the clinic everyone was very helpful and attentive. The nurse and nurse practitioner were both very knowledgeable and courteous. Overall great experience and would definitely recommend this location.

Edit to my review from 2 weeks ago:nI sent an Email like they asked me to and never responded. I am glad how much you appreciate my feedback and the time I took to write a detailed email - irony offnnThis is the worst urgent care I have ever been to. Back in October I called and asked if they have the ability to do X-rays on my then almost 2 year old son because we think he broke his arm. They said yes. We got there, checked in, waited 90 minutes and when we got to the room the nurse told us the X-ray tech had left 10 minutes prior and we have to go to the ER because they also donu2019t do splints on toddlers. Why didnu2019t you tell me all that when I called or when we checked in?nBut yes I got over it. Last Saturday my son complained about his head wound which was glued from a physician overseas so I made an appointment online for the next day. Sunday morning I packed up my toddler, my newborn baby and headed to Shallotte to then be told there is no doctor or NP in the office because they are short staffed and it would be an online visit. Why didnu2019t you inform me about that beforehand? I understand being short staffed, but be transparent. You were able to send me appointment reminders, why not inform about that?

AP Emily was excellent. Reviewed my health and asked me very good questions.U could tell she was serious in helping me feel better. 5 stars. The tech that took my vitals( Emalee) was also very professional and asked good questions. My vitals were all good. She also gave me an injection of Dexamethasone, painless process.nWould highly recommend Quick Care in Shallotte.nOn a side note : the front processing person needs some customer service training .First impression was not very good. If u want everyone to process themselves in, then make the equipment and front desk more user friendly.nThx u for listening...

The doctor, nurse and front desk representative were very friendly and professional. They were all knowledgeable about their patient care. I was very impressed. As a retired nurse that is a very high compliment. I would recommend them for your Urgent Care needs. My experience as a patient there has definitely positive.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. Candice, the PA or whatever type of nursing assistant she is is terrible at her job. Not only was I forgotten about for an hour and a half in the room. I was told that I kept getting bumped because I was a walk-in, which I was not as I had booked an appointment at 7:15 in the morning for a 1245 that day. And when I checked in all that information was correct it showed that I was a scheduled appointment. I arrived on time so Iu2019m not sure why I was to. Then after they Swabbed me for Covid flu and strep they let those test sit for an hour and a half before they told me any results so were they actually negative or did they actually look at someone elseu2019s swab tests because they forgot about mine.nI was suffering from a severe sinus infection at day eight and she told me once she came into the room that I had not been sick enough for long enough to receive any type of medical treatment. She gave me a shot of Decadron, which is a steroid which I cannot have, but she told me it was safe and OK for me to take then sent me on my way with a Flonase prescription . that evening, I felt terribly worse, and I had a strange reaction from the steroid injection. I had to wait until Tuesday after the memorial holiday to see a doctor in the primary care which told me when I saw them that I had a severe sinus infection and was on the brink of having pneumonia and bronchitis because I wasnu2019t treated at the urgent care. Sheu2019s lucky I donu2019t sue the shit out of her for misdiagnosis and maltreatment.
