My girlfriend came in for birth control then Dr.McDonald told her she needed a pap smear. Pap smear is not common practice for birth control pills. Now it is for a IUD or a diaphragm. But that's not what she wanted. I understand you will have to get a pap smear throughout life here and there as a woman but it should not be sprung on you how Dr McDonald try to do to her not even telling her that he was going to do it but having the nurses come in and get everything ready obviously she was surprised and told him that she did not want that check up done. And now they are refusing to give her birth control because she refused to get a pap smear explain to me how she could get birth control easier when she was 18 then when she was 20.

I have been going to Dr Macdonald for at least 8 years with no issues. I received a letter in the mail today that as of a date in February they will no longer be my primary caregiver. Was the reason because I was nasty to employees, or failed to pay? NO, it was because I wouldn't go visit a urologist because he wanted me to and he would never tell me WHY he wanted me to. I don't have insurance and I'm sure it's a drop in the bucket for him to visit specialists all the time, but it's a big deal for me. I thanked him for his concern but I was not planning to see a urologist so he would rather just drop me from his care!! MY body MY choice!!

If giving 0 stars were an option I would give 0. This is the second time I have come to this facility and had it be a complete waist of time. Called prior to the visit and had been told the prescriber would be able to help with our problems. To be completely mislead, came in and paid almost $100 both times for the prescriber to tell me they are unable to help because they are not specialized and u201cdonu2019t knowu201d how to test for the issues we were having. After being told over the phone prior to seeing the provider, they would be able to help with our problems. We also asked one more time before sitting and waiting to be seen, if they provided the help we needed and were still sent back to the physician and given no help whatsoever. Was absolutely misleading and feels like highway robbery, getting us to come in, to just take our money. Would not recommendu2026

This doctor is a complete waste of time. All he wants from you is money and for you to keep coming back. Went in for something Iu2019ve been dealing with for weeks and he told me to monitor it for 3 days and he would call me to check on me as if it would magically go away. Shockingly it didnu2019t, and when I asked them what he thought the next step was, the answer I got was, u201cIu2019m not sure I can asku201d. I then asked what kind of doctor would handle the issue I came in for, and all I got was, u201cyou can look it upu201d. Complete joke. Waste of a career and a medical degree he should be ashamed of how he and his office operates.

Probably the best Dr visit Iu2019ve experienced which means a lot considering this was a spur of the moment urgent care visit. All of the staff were beyond nice. He made me feel understood and listened to the symptoms I was experiencing. Definitely an amazing physician to see.
