When I first came in, they told me to sign forms that they wouldn't show me. They said you have to sign the forms in order to print them out, which seems incredibly suspicious to me.I waited about an hour and 15 minutes for my appointment. They called me back at 45 minutes and then made me wait in *another* room for a half hour. The actual appointment went okay; I needed to go back on a medication I was previously taking, and the NP was able to write it for me.Then, they tried to ice me out for almost three weeks. Took a week and two emails for them to even call it into my insurance. Then it turns out that my insurance won't cover the type of pills they prescribed, they want caplets instead. Instead of contacting me or doing anything about this, they just sat on their hands and completely abandoned me. It took two more emails and two in-person visits. I had to camp out in the office for over an hour today for someone to write another prescription. They could not be bothered about the quality of your care, they are simply trying to take on as many patients as possible. They will ignore you, make you wait, and think it's all okay because they have a high volume of patients. I am not returning to a doctor's office that will not acknowledge my existence unless I physically prevent them from ignoring me. Absolutely absurd.

The office itself is nice - front desk is very helpful, Dr. Dixon is great, but the call center you have to go through to get an appointment, request info, follow-up, etc. is HORRIBLE!!! They sometimes donu2019t answer their phones at all, and when they do, you might as well be talking to a rock - keep you on hold forever, never sure how to help, give you incorrect info, or just try to rush you off the phone by refusing to assist. Need to improve the call center or feed calls directly to the office. Referral team is also bad - my insurance requested additional information and never received a response, so had to deny my CT Scan authorization request. Turns out, the referral team never sent it to the doctor, so she wasnu2019t even aware. Again - office itself is good - and in my case - was the only reason any of the issues were resolved, but everything around them (call center, referral team, message team, etc.) needs work!

Iu2019m only giving 2 stars because the front desk worker was phenomenal, otherwise Iu2019d give one. I got to my appointment early but ended up waiting over an hour to see the doctor. Not only that but I never was told what was going on, just left in the room to twiddle my thumbs. I eventually just left in the middle of the exam because I was so fed up. But when I did, I WAS LOCKED IN. And had to get a security guard to open the door for me.

Corporate is destroying the care in advantagecare. They can't keep or recruit good Drs. Now they charge $50 for missed appointments and I'm waiting nearly an hour for a 1015 am appointment. I get that sometimes offices get backed up, but an hour by 1015 am is ridiculous, especially when the Drs are limited to 15 minutes per patient by corporate.Dr K however was very thorough. Hopefully he doesn't move on from AC
