Yesterday was my third visit to a CVS Minute Clinic. On all three occasions, I left more than satisfied. The interactive systems for scheduling are impressive. The practitioners are excellent. They listen, ask solid questions, and provide easy to understand information. In all 3 cases, my health concern improved very soon. Last fall, I went to another urgent care and was diagnosed with a virus; no treatment needed. Four days later I went to a Minute Clinic because I was coughing so badly. The Minute Clinic practitioner diagnosed pneumonia. She ordered high powered antibiotics and cough medicine, and I was on the mend within a week. My symptoms subsided, but I was weak for the next two or three weeks. Minute Clinic will be my choice as I need urgent care in the future.

So I went to the Minute Clinic due swelling of the throat and that was the only place that had immediate availability. I went to my appointment and the the staff was not exactly friendly. I advised them that I had VA insurance and they said it would take a while. Totally understandable it usually takes about 5 minutes. They came back 30 minutes later and said they couldnu2019t see me because they couldnu2019t get the VA to approve the authorization for treatment. Totally frustrating needless to say. I wonu2019t be going back there again. Very disappointed about the treatment veterans receive.

I recently visited the Minute Clinic on Oleander in Wilmington and was surprised at how well it went. The PA was exceptional and I would just like to encourage others do the same and visit their nearest CVS for their healthcare if they donu2019t have a PCP or canu2019t get an appointment soon enough. It was time well spent.

They canceled my appointment multiple times at the last minute. The last cancelation was by phone and the Representative who called had a very nasty attitude about it.

Just fyi DO NOT recommend the CVS minute clinic off Oleander.I was seen/treated at the CB Minute Clinic (one I normally go to, love them there never had one bad experience) for Covid this past Sunday.Long story short, since then, I've developed a residual bacterial infection in my sinuses that is causing me to experience terrible discomfort and conjuntivitis/pink eye in my left eye. This morning I decided I needed to see a doctor to get on some antibiotics. Since the CB minute clinic is closed on W and TH, I made an appointment at the one on Oleander.I arrive 20 minutes before scheduled time and check in (masked up, of course). After about 10 minutes, an employee comes out and says, We are unable to see you due to the fact that you tested positive for Covid-19 three days ago.I'm confused. Why then, did your other establishment see me on Sunday and treat me when I was positive and now you are refusing service? Why then was I allowed to even make this appointment? I ask.Sorry. We can't see you. You are suppose to be quarantining right now. She smugly responds.I point out my eye. Can I please just get some antibiotics for my eye please? That's why I'm here and what was listed for the appointment. You can make a telehealth appointment for that.I didnt argue or even respond. I just got up and thought Wow. Thanks for wasting my time and for your superb customer service. ud83dude44
