We came into the ER because my daughter was sick and became dehydrated. From the person who checked us in, the nurses and the doctor who treated us this was by far the best hospital experience we have had. Knowledgeable, kind, and respectful the whole time. Thank you for your care.

I want to to Thank and recognize a nurse who works nights, Tyne always came in with a smile on her face, always happy her warm smile could put anybody in a good mood. You never had to question any move she made, and she always knew what she was doing. She would even take the time and talk to you while she was doing her work amazing. She deserves a raise and a lot of recognition thank you Tyne.

Typically I donu2019t have any issues with this hospital. I have had both my children here with exceptional care as well as life saving care when I went septic. However that changed when I had to take my infant to the ED.Dr. Andrew Thompson, (who after further investigation just recently employed out of residency) couldnu2019t give a single care to my 6 month old who had not slept, eaten or been restful with a fever that had been greater than 103u00b0f. My child was miserable, coughing and choking on their own phlegm. Which the nurse watched happen and didnu2019t really seem to care either, I had to help him.Thompson listened to my childu2019s lungs for less than a second and hardly looked into their ears. Said they were fine but I shouldnu2019t take them there Becuase in his words u201cwe donu2019t treat pediatrics here. Next time go to Maine medu201d.My child was not fine and my mother instinct said to take them to his pediatrician, and Iu2019m glad I did. They had a raging bilateral ear infection that with two seconds of looking at the ER wouldu2019ve been seen. They also had pneumonia, which again if this u201cdoctoru201d wouldu2019ve listened to their lungs, wouldu2019ve been heard and shouldu2019ve been X-rayed. I am beyond disappointed and angry with how we were treated.Submitted with a pen name so if we need to file legal matters or if complaint gets u201clostu201d. Also submitted to their board. Parents if you have a sick child I wouldnu2019t recommend the Emergency Department at Maine Health Biddeford

The cleanest hall ways the fifties rooms appearance seem to be everything, public rest rooms are fifty patients rooms look like the floors haven't been swept or wash for weeks but yeat the reseption room hallways realing and wall are spotless, is all about appearance, i will never lived in a house that is that fifty why will I go to a fifty place like that when I'm sick.And If you look at their comment always respond to highest reviews no comments for the one stars reviews.

The staff was amazing, but the billing department is horrible. I called twice before my appointment to correct the information they had on the estimate (in order to avoid getting a bill and having them tell me I needed to correct it with the third-party billing agency). I was assured both times that my insurer information had been corrected. After my appointment, lo and behold, I received a bill that they had billed the incorrect insurance. When I called to speak to a supervisor, the tier 2 rep could not possibly have cared less. Not an apology, nothing. Just well, we have your correct information on file, so there's nothing we can do about it. Ended up calling the third-party agency and they were very helpful. But the fact that there was no way I could have prevented this billing error despite going out of my way was extremely frustrating, and neither rep I spoke with was contrite, apologetic or understanding AT ALL and offered NO solution
