Came in with severe stomach bug symptoms, instead of testing me for any virus, they instantly blamed it on anxiety stating u201ceveryone has anxietyu201d Ended up fighting not to be admitted in a psychiatric hold for vomiting! I expressed no interest in harming myself or others. I will not be coming back here unless I am about to die. Additionally, they placed the blood pressure cuff above my IV, cutting off circulation to my arm and turning it gray/purple.

Approximately 2 years ago my fiance had to go to the emergency room sent there with doctor's orders for emergency blood she had blood tests that came back very low in red blood cell count and plasma and she was low on blood 2 pints she had internal bleeding after setting for 4 hours she got frustrated and left and went back the next day after setting another 4 hours she left and when the next morning to King's daughters medical center in Ashland and they immediately admitted her into the hospital to do emergency procedures on her digestive system Southern Ohio medical center has a tendency to make their patients wait for many many hours before they are given care I highly recommend you go to King's daughters. after reading several reviews it's obvious that this is the most horrible hospital in all of the State of Ohio. Anyone getting quality care is in for a procedure but if you have a real health issue THEY determine is not life threatening they will make you feel less than human and ignore doing their job at all cost. It's almost as if their attitude is they Will Not Respect you if you are on government assistance. I have been thrown out of the hospital emergency room for asking questions about why they were releasing a patient that was deathly ill I have been to the emergency room on multiple occasions and never been seen quickly they are the rudest staff I have ever seen.

Shouldn't even call it an emergency room! All they do is make you wait in the waiting room for hours on end. If you really want help, sadly you might have to drive like an hour to actually get it. SOMC needs new staff who actually care. It shouldn't be all about the money, especially if someone's sick or if their life is on the line. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOSPITAL TO ANYONE!!!

Would never recommend coming here unless you're having a heart attack or actively bleeding. Brought a friend here, after leaving urgent care for vertigo, she had an intense spell where she couldn't stand on her own or raise her head. We were there for atleast 5 hours barely getting acknowledged by the hospital staff.

NEVER come here, unless your arm has been cut off. I accompanied my girlfriend who presented with a myriad of symptoms. We waited 4 hours just to be seen, her symptoms were ignored. She was mocked by staff for politely expressing her needs. Staff is slow and rude; they will not listen to the words coming from your mouth. We arrived at 10:45 and left after 5, being told to see a primary care provider.
