An experienced doctor who uses a non-nonsense approach to diagnose and treat patients. The office staff are kind and courteous. One more thing to say about the doctor, he reminds me of the good old doctor I used to have when I was growing up.

I canu2019t say enough great things about my experiences with Southland Urgent Care. My wife and I have been treated with respect and dignity at all times. The empathy and compassion that weu2019ve experienced there has been beyond all expectations. Bill is a true professional and Itu2019s slmost impossible to express the gratitude and love that my wife and I have to Geri. She cares deeply about her patients and always goes the extra mile to make sure that our experience goes smoothly. And then thereu2019s Dr Mel. He is true throwback to another time when doctors came to your home to give you extra care. Heu2019s meant so much to me but more importantly, heu2019s been so wonderful to my wife and Iu2019ll be eternally grateful for that. Weu2019ve always felt like we were with family every time there. Itu2019s the single greatest experience with a medical office that Iu2019ve ever had in my entire life. Thank you again for youu2019re love and support all these years

Dr. Mel is amazing, and Jeri at the front desk is so friendly and nice. Came from out of state to take care of some family business and both my son and my self needed to be seen several times. Everyone there is so nice and understanding, itu2019s a real breath of fresh air when you come across an urgent care where everyone who works there is so friendly and helpful! If you ever need an urgent care with an amazing, understanding Doctor and an awesome staff, this is where you need to go!!!! Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

This place is a scam. After visiting it with my daughter and asked the doctor question on my issue, they charged me co-pay according to my insurance and my daughter's insurance. Hers was $70 and mine was $30, later we both received bill from the Urgent care and both bills were different (my daughters one was much higher that mine, even if her co-pay was more). Prior to the visit I called, provided my insurance ID and they checked and assured me that they are accepting my insurance. After receiving the bill, I called and asked for itemized bill, the receptionist was rude, would not let you finish the sentence and finally hang up on me.According to the reviews here, this is a standard practice at this place. And I am not the first, whom they are doing this, billing people multiple times for no reason and after several years.

I love Dr. Mel, Bill, Jeri, Kasey, and the rest of the staff. They are helpful, knowledgeable, and always cheerful. Dr. Mel makes you feel comfortable; always fun talking sports with Bill; Jeri couldn't be more helpful and kind-hearted; and Kasey is as sweet as they come. It is more like a family than a staff at a doctor's office. Who likes to go to a doctor's office? It is time consuming, expensive, nerve racking, and no fun in general; however, the staff there does their best to make is as enjoyable (and quick) as possible. The fact that they are open on Saturdays AND Sundays is so convenient. Dr. Mel has everything on site to diagnose and treat you immediately. I went in completely dehydrated. He had me on an IV within minutes. Other urgent care offices send you to an ER for that. I was so grateful! I can't say enough good things about everyone at Southland Family Urgent Care!!
