4/2025 South Shore medical,Norwell MAnAfter having a couple of bad experiences with two doctors -one refusing me urgent care two days in a row, which my insurance co said should never happen. I was going to leave, but after speaking with a supervisor, she got me a very nice doctor Whou2019s very attentive. Dont be afraid to ask for a new doctor ! And always get a second opinion!!!nnThe benefits of South Shore Medical are x-rays, bone density and bloodwork are all on site! I had a fantastic first experience setting up my PCP. They were incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. They took the time to answer all my questions, making sure I felt comfortable and well-informed. If the patient uses MyChart it will be even easier for them to help and take care of the admin staffs, so the process were seamless, with everything handled efficiently and with care.

If I could give them negative stars, I would. Iu2019ve been a patient of SSMC since I can remember, and itu2019s become so poorly managed and led that Iu2019m at my widthu2019s end ready to completely change every doctor I have here. For the 4th or 5th time in a row, after scheduling months in advance for primary care, dermatology, special medicine, ANY DEPARTMENT, they send you an automated voice message 2 weeks before your visit saying your visit has been cancelled call back to reschedule. Only to call back, and it take 30 minutes to be transferred to 8 different secretaries. Itu2019s like clockwork. Itu2019s gotten to the point now, where everytime I attempt to schedule something with SSMC, I consider not even adding it to my calendar because thereu2019s more of a chance it gets cancelled than actually holds.nNot to mention I was seeing Mohammed Sharaf for 6 months for acutane, only to be completely ghosted by the last 2/3 of my visits being cancelled without any reason why. Then when trying to call back and see another dermolotogist, they werenu2019t able to complete my Accutane treatment as it was then put on me for u201cwaitinn too long between visitsu201dnnHoly good god STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE AS YOU CAN!!!!nWithholding my asthma medication because your doctor cancelled my appointment is diabolical. I was born with asthma. Misdiagnosing my sonu2019s chrons disease for 3 months as a viral infection. Pediatricians getting fired for inappropriately touching their female patients for years. I put in a call to the office manager about withholding my asthma medication still havenu2019t heard anything back. Havenu2019t even reached out to me. Donu2019t forget that their doctor is the one that canceled my appointment 15 minutes before I was supposed to be there. Such an unprofessional facility. NO WONDER ALL THE GOOD DOCTORS HAVE LEFT!! They no longer have GI, Allergist. Poorly ran facility which my entire family will no longer go to. Please do your children yourself and your family members a favor, go to a better facility.

Had to take time off from my job to get my physical appointment. When I waited more than 20 mins I went up to check on my spot in line. They told me I was next. As more time passed. I went up to ask again. Then I was told the doctor was running u201cvery behindu201d and it would be at least 30 more mins. Well that wouldu2019ve been nice to know the first time! This place sucks and just wastes your time.
