After an extended labor at home with my home birth midwife we decided a transfer was necessary for a safe delivery. We were graciously welcomed by the nurses and CNM Brittney B. The nurses were beyond kind and put up with my resistance to almost everything without talking it through as I hadnu2019t planned for a hospital birth. After delivering my lovely daughter, Brittney reached out to check in on us and I was beyond grateful. We received lots of help from the staff with learning to breastfeed, checking my daughter for oral ties, and making sure I had everything I needed to take care of myself postpartum. Our last night at St Joes we were also surprised with their complementary dinner which was phenomenal. I canu2019t thank them enough for taking us when they didnu2019t have to.

I gave birth to my daughter at this hospital and all the staff were excellent and supportive every step of the way! This being my first baby, I was eternally grateful to have a team of compassionate, and knowledgeable nurses and midwives on my side. Thank you for taking care of us all!

I have been trying to fix a bill that my Mother keeps receiving from their billing department that her insurance has paid. Last March I was assured that the insurance payment was found and would be posted not to worry and ignore future bills. So here we are in May and my mother receives phone call that she owes this bill. I called billing office again and they stated insurance did not pay. Funny in March the check was found not posted did it magically disappear. Called insurance Company again and stated check was sent. I have check number and date issued. Today was my 4th phone call on this bill. Maybe they need to hire actual billing people that know how to do their job.

St. Joseph Hospital provided excellent care for a patient who is poor when the other hospital wouldnt! The other hospital located right downtown Nashua treated the patient like crap and even called security on the patient because the patient had no money and did not want to be billed. The nurses and all staff at St. Joseph hospital were friendly, and treated the patient with respect even though the patient had no money to give and no medical coverage. This patient needed an abscess drained but didn't have the funds to cover it, and St. Joseph took good care of him and did not bill him because of his situation.

Maternity and midwives are the absolute kindest and most supportive people working in that area of medicine my family has ever encountered. Highly recommend them especially if you are a first time parent. They are not pushy or manipulative, they respect patients decisions no matter what they are, and they are genuinely very nice people all around. Also, security guards are all very helpful and pleasant to talk to. My wife always felt respected and cared for, which goes a very long way for a woman in labor!
