This is one of the lowest quality care ERs Iu2019ve ever been to. They charge 200+% of the national average for services and multiple billing agencies trying to collect independently for the same service (double billing). They are unable to process insurance in any sort of efficient manner which leads to multiple calls (Iu2019m well over 8 now) after the fact for the same exact thing. The staff was generally difficult to work with, and they tried to skip basic care items like sterilizing and cleaning out a deep wound on my back. They charge about $1000 for u2018pharmacyu2019 even if you donu2019t use their pharmacy. This hospital is basically a criminal organization. I donu2019t think I would go here in the future if even if I was dying.

BEWARE: My partner was kept for three nights in this hospital, with excellent care EXCEPT his status remained as Under Observation and he was never formally admitted. Consequently he lost all Medicare benefits for follow-up care in a nursing home. BE SURE you are aware of your status! This a very costly SCAM which hospitals across the nation are using for readings of profit, as I understand it, and it denies valuable benefits to Medicare patients. There are congressmen and women who are trying to change the 3-midnights Medicare rule so this cannot occur.

Impossible to get any follow up help after an appointment. I called over 10 times to get an issue with how they billed my insurance adjusted and every time I was assured it would be addressed, but it never was. Super unresponsive and disregard for patients. I'm not shocked the ratings on Google and Yelp are so bad.

Was experiencing lower back/sciatic pain. Was on meds for it, but even at high dosage, pain persisted. So had spinal steroid injection, which worked very well. No more pain. And the entire staff made the procedure go as simply and comfortably as possible. High marks for that. But follow-up has been nonexistent. I've called them and left messages at least twice over the last two weeks, trying to find out if I can stop taking my pain meds now, and if so, how? Cold turkey? Or step down? No idea because no one has returned my calls. Completely ignored. They treat you very well up through the procedure, but then seem to forget about you completely. If follow-up is important or needed, you should look elsewhere.

I was transferred to the 3rd floor pediatric unit at CHRISTUS St. Vincent Regional in NM. The staff were all great from the Doctors to Housekeeping staff. My nursing care was exceptional! Colleen, Patrick and everyone else that I came into contact with. Thank you
