I went here on the first week of August since the Orange urgent care was closed. I liked the facility since the staff was pleasant and polite. However, I would say if you have another option, I would suggest going to a different place. I told them I had lower abdominal cramps that are on different locations of my lower abdomen and on my hip area. They did a urine pregnancy test on me that revealed I was not pregnant. And since I had no diarrhea or bloody stool, they thought it was not gastric but maybe just from muscle strain. The PA prescribed me some muscle relaxants however, I felt like that was not really what I needed because I looked up what the drug is supposed to be for and i didn't think it adds up to the symptoms I described so, I just bear the pain.nnThankfully, I did not take the meds because two weeks after I found out I was pregnant through a urine test. Who knows what would have happened taking those early in my pregnancy.nnDon't get me wrong, I have nothing against the staff, they were polite and patient. I guess what I'm saying is maybe they could do a better job with checking for pregnancy instead of just a urine test. We can all do that at home, probably get an upgrade and do a blood test.

I've been to this walk-in several times. Perhaps I didn't have the same doctors as previous reviewers, or perhaps I'm not overly egocentric, but my experiences have been much different. My first visit was for an x-ray. It was very quick, no wait, took 30 minutes tops from walking in to getting the results.nSecond visit was for a required physical for an employer. No problems whatsoever, good staff, quick visit. I didn't have insurance at the time and had a $90 bill, but that wasn't their fault.nThird visit was at 8am on New Year's Day. I had borderline pneumonia and a severe sinus infection - they were the ONLY place open besides hospital emergency rooms. Once again, excellent care, the prescriptions and self-care directions helped for a very quick recovery.nnI'm not a huge fan of going to doctors, but this has been a great place to go whenever I need non-emergency medical attention. I'll be using their services again if needed!

First patient before they open at 9 and still not seen till 40 minutes later. Always too long of a wait and plenty of staff.nnWhoa! There were no threats and no complaints about medication! There was no threats or slamming of anything! You have wrong patient!! The response below to the wait time regarding my appointment is completely wrong and uncalled for. Stating that the wait time is too long is justified and a matter of opinion. Check in at 9:13 via computer, brought into office was 9:40.nnThanks for showing your lack of professionalism. Another patient lost.

I was appreciative of the on-time aspect of the visit. The reception desk personnel were very nice and explained all the insurance issues and administrative details. The only aspect of the front desk procedure that concerned me was that when the reception desk personnel opened the glass partition to take and give documents, they did not put on their masks.nThe medical assistant and the nurse were very kind and reassuring which made the anxiety around the COVID test procedure easier to cope with.

I can't say enough good things about this place!!! As a person with chronic kidney stones I find this place as a great alternative to waiting for 3 hours at Yale, and every single time I come here they go above and beyond for patient care. One of my favorite employees at Stony Creek Urgent Care is Jackie one of the medical assistants. She's so nice, and goes out if her way for patients. Today I was seen by the PA Alex and a nice lady named Cindy did my IV. They were quick and very pleasant, and I walked out feeling much better. This place is amazing!
