I am deeply concerned about a serious HIPAA violation at this clinic. The front desk staff mistakenly provided me access to another patient's medical records by entering my information into the wrong account. While we share a similar first name, our last names are completely different.nnAfter my doctor's visit, I requested an itemized bill, but the staff couldnu2019t assist me. Instead, they provided details about someone elseu2019s treatment.nnWhen I logged into my online portal later, I discovered that I again had access to this other patientu2019s records, allowing me to see her entire medical history. This not only breaches my privacy but also puts my own information at risk.nnThey updated my information with the other patients information.nnThe lack of professionalism in handling sensitive information is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about the clinic's compliance with HIPAA regulations. Immediate action is necessary to address these issues.
