Doctor Brett Kjellen, OD is a really nice guy and helpful docter, but this year and last year, I waited VERY long for the appointment. Today I waited about 20 min for the tech/nurse to take me in, and ask their questions do my vision test, then I waited 37 minutes to be seen by Dr Kjellen. I was there for 1.5 hours total - unacceptable as a working person!!nThis is added on top of when I moved here last year and called, they said they take my insurance, only to find out they do not. They were nice enough, and my health insurance covered the visit after a co-pay, so I figured I'd give them another shot this year... So, I think after today's long appointment, I'll be looking elsewhere, especially for someone who takes my insurance.

Trying to make an eye appointment was terrible even for a person having ocular migraines. They would not send a referral as another ophthalmologist asked for. Would not make any exceptions. Would only make an appointment for the following year. The receptionist was very nice. But no way would they bend to make an appointment unless it would be for the following year?

First impressions: not good.nI was referred here by HHC UC Berlin for an eye problem. I was placed on hold twice and when a representative answered, I was belittled by being asked why I even NEEDED an appointment and what time frame did I expect to be seen. After being placed on hold a third time, I was told that no such appointment was available and to look elsewhere. For a place that apparently exudes customer service, I felt absolutely none. Not a fan.nUpon further reviewing others experiences, I am glad to know I'm not the only one who felt this way.

After so many years of being a patient with this practice I left .My last appointment was horrible.I was waiting for 40 minutes and after I went to receptionist asking whatu2019s going on she went to check but came back with no answer.Because I couldnu2019t wait any longer I ask her to reschedule my appointment.She said they canu2019t take me sooner then September!!! Also they optometrist are very expensive.You can get frames and the glasses anywhere else for half of the price and theyu2019re not worse then they offer.I am very disappointed
