Zero stars. Please if you care about customer service and an administration that is accountable and responsive do not trust Susan B Allen. They make up their own rules as they go and care very little for patient care unless you pay in full then you are royalty. Not-for-profit and there to help. Hardly. They had an outdated financial assistance system in place for years before updating the correct income for families to receive assistance. With the wrong calculations I am curious as to how many hardworking families got screwed financially. For SBA to put on a u201cfor the peopleu201d face and only focus on how much they are able to inconvenience and charge people is disgusting in my opinion. My Wife and I brought the financial assistance errors up to HR and they finally changed it the end of last year. My suggestion is to call the billing department and see if they will retro bill as a result of their errors. Do not trust SBA. Itu2019s really unfortunate to have such a valuable resource that is being ran the way it is.

The worst service you can ever get in the ER. My husband was seen there on Friday for severe pain in his right side where his kidney was at and they did blood work and urine test and cat scan all to come to find of that they told him there was nothing they could find. He went home as the weekend passed by he ended back in there on Sunday where their was a PA that did a second option on him and found two kidney stones that was causing all this pain and everything. He then went to his regular doctor where he was seen for them as to go home and drink as much water as you can to try to pass them on his own. Well needless to say he ended back in the ER this evening where he had seen these PA and nurses this weekend and was very rude and disrespectful to him and his wife where I was trying to let them know what medicine he is on daily and was cut off and told to let him talk well as his wife he does not remember all the medicines he is on. They were very quick to get him seen and out it's fine I will never take him back again. .the floors are nasty dirty and they are so rude to all their patients that comes through that door. they almost killed my best friend son. This is pathetic. We will be driving to Wichita for now on. What I can say is that the doctor office is way different then they all are in the Emergency room is so dangerous to take anyone there if you love your kids and family I would not recommend this place. The ER department needs to be shut down. Them trying to save electricity and shutting off all the lights is unsafe seen they can't afford their electric bill. Pretty sad...

I wish I could give this place a 1 star. This place needs to be shut down. It is HORRID. Before I get to my story, letu2019s start off with the fact that you are hardly ever seen by an actual doctor, usually only a mid level nurse. As well the people running their er donu2019t even have to go to school to do what they do. Most just a couple of in person courses that take a couple of days.nnI took my nephew here yesterday. They told me he had an ear infection after I was sent there from the urgent care because of the way he was breathing. The nurse was in and out in less than 5 minutes. She listened to his chest and checked his ears and gave him a diagnosis. She didnu2019t even attempt to check his throat. Luckily we have an actual trained nurse in the family so told us to go to the er at Wesley in Wichita. If we would have listened to the nurse at this hospital my nephew would be dead now. He has a virus that was causing his throat to swell and therefore he could not swallow anything nor breathe which is why he was gasping for air and belly breathing. I have heard so many horror stories about this place. It needs to be completely shut down.nnIf you want your family member to live to see another day, absolutely positively do not take them here.

My daughter in law is almost 8 weeks pregnant. About 2 weeks ago she was spotting. She went to lab at hospital they checked hcg levels. Said to come back in two days to check again. She called two days later in horrible pelvic pain and still spotting. Told her she had a uti checked levels and they werenu2019t doubling like supposed to. Said to come back. It was a Saturday to get hcg levels checked. They never called her back until Monday afternoon not in the morning but waited. Said she needed to get levels checked again. This time they dropped and told her next day to get ultrasound. They couldnu2019t find anything on the ultrasound. Said it may be etopic but didnu2019t think so and that she is probably about to miscarry. Said to recheck labs in three days. Recheck showed numbers going up but still too low. Would not see her for 5 days. During that time she went back to the ER due to bleeding and severe pain. They told her the numbers went up again. Could not give her an ultrasound due to no one there to do it. The nurse wouldnu2019t listen to my daughter in laws concerns and kept interrupting her. Told her to take a Benadryl for sleep and sent her home. She finally gets in to doctor today. Ultrasound confirms etopic pregnancy which means it cannot survive and could cause death to my daughter in law if she ruptures. They decide to go with the shot to absorb it. However the person is not available to do the shot. Every day it continues to develop outside of her uterus and this increases her chance of rupturing. Also if her hcg number reaches above 4000 the failure rate for the shot is 65%. Her numbers today are 3600! They donu2019t care. The lack of care at this horrible hospital is beyond awful. I have a lawyer on standby if anything happens to my daughter in law this hospital will be held responsible for any injury due to medical malpractice and lack of care.nnUPDATE 9/12/24nMy daughter in law now 10 weeks along was in severe pain and went to ER. Found out that her tube ruptured. She had emergency surgery and her tube was removed. This hospital is the worst and most dangerous place. An etopic pregnancy is an emergency but they treated it like it was nothing and kept ignoring her pleas. She lost her tube and could have lost her life but they kept waiting and did the injections when it was too late. They never gave her the option of surgery to remove it and now she went through an emergency surgery that she lost her tube due to their lack of care. Please if you value your life and those that you love please donu2019t go here as they will not help you until itu2019s too late!!!

This Hospital ER is the worst I've ever seen on 9 out of 10 times I've been there, and recent visit with my wife for stomach cramps led to a 6mm kidney stone blocking the path from 1 kidney to her bladder which would require needing a stint put in at another hospital so what do they do when you refuse to be taken by ambulance to that other hospital? They leave you sitting in a room for another 2 hours so that your loved one can take a nap instead of getting you on your way to the Dr that is waiting to do the procedure! I wouldn't recommend coming to this ER unless you can visually see what you need like stitches or something along those lines, otherwise save your sanity and money and drive on to another Hospital to begin with...
