Let me start by saying Dr. Handoyo is fantastic. This office? Absolutely terrible. I have had a problem almost every time I have visited. They have made billing mistakes, tried to cancel my appointment for being late while I was there waiting in line for almost 10 minutes to check in at the front desk, and more. Today was the last straw.They called me while I was on my way to the office to let me know that the type of appointment I had scheduled should have been scheduled over the phone instead of online because it could take longer and they didn't know if the doctor would have enough time to see me so they were cancelling it. 1. There is no indication anywhere on their online scheduler that I needed to call in for this (or any) type of appointment. 2. They had plenty of time from when I scheduled my and confirmed my appointment days prior to figure this out/contact me. 3. Because they had to cancel my appointment, they offered to reschedule what was supposed to be my 6 week follow up for the earliest available slot which was another month out making it 10 weeks. I had left the house an hour early because they will cancel your appointment if you are late (regardless of the reason), and I had gone to great lengths to organize childcare for my 6 week old in order to make this appointment. Absolutely 0 understanding or care for the customer at this office.I sincerely hope Dr. Handoyo moves to a different office with different staff. Until then, I'll find a new doctor. Truly a shame.

My experience was very unprofessional. I booked my appointment thru the website weeks ago, got a confirmation right away. About a week before the appointment got a reminder message and confirmation request. Did that. Couple of days after I got a message that my visit was cancelled, because doctor doesn't take new patients. It's strange since the very first question during the scheduling process was about me being a new patient. I called them two weeks ago to ask if I should do any blood test prior my visit and they said since you're the new patient, you first have to see our doctor.I would be okey with the whole situation if they cancelled on me weeks ago, not days before.

Really bad experience, they canceled my appointment, booked many weeks in advance, just a day before my visit and they didn't even notify me! I had to call them myself to learn about the cancelation. They also had no good reason for the cancelation, the front desk simply said the doctor changed his mind and decided not accept new patients (I was not a new patient since my visit was already booked and CONFIRMED). Extremely unprofessional all the way. Beware and go somewhere else, I wouldn't trust them with my health.

If this office is going to accept patients with HMOs, they need to learn how to fax referrals to specialists. It's ridiculous to make patients wait months, then when we finally have an appointment, our referrals are not updated. I am very organized, keep notes, business cards. I gave Dr. Sarver the name, phone, and fax of every specialist I see. Five months later, referrals are still not sent. The front desk forwards me to a nurse who tries to forward me to a referral coordinator who is never available. They just shuffle you from one person to the next, and no one ever takes any responsibility for their mistakes. I have had to cancel 3 appointments with my rheumatologist now due to your office's inefficiency. That's spaces held open for me that other patients could be using. This is a health mill, and patients are just numbers here. They do not care.

This office really cares about their patients! The front staff are always friendly and super helpful. The physicians are very knowledgeable and caring. Referrals have always been easy with great communication through the portal. No problems!
