Very friendly atmosphere and staff and not a long wait either. Staff, Nurse's and Doctor's have a sincere sense of helping you personally. This is a quick and kindly resource for your medical needs if you have no time or soon availability to get to your regular Doctor.

This clinic is very nice and clean. There was no wait time for me, and if there was-they have an online/text based notification system to save you the hassle of waiting on site. My visit was a pleasant experience. The staff was quick and cordial. A huge plus was when I needed a copy of my invoice for insurance substantiation. I filled out an online contact form with my inquiry and within the same day, I received a reply with thorough steps to retrieve a copy of my request. That's great turn around time and customer service in my book. I've made a mental note to make this my go-to urgent care from now on.

I visited this clinic on 07/17/17 and have never felt less treated as a customer. My deductible for the year had been met, so my insurance co-pay is $0; However, the clinic was unable to verify my insurance on their website so they were going to make me pay a $35 co-pay for that reason. When I asked them if they could simply call my provider for verification, the girl at the desk (Tiffany, I believe), said Well, I CAN do that, but I'm not going to. There's another person who has been patiently waiting to get checked in, and technically I don't 'have to' CALL and verify. I CAN, but I'm not going to. Including myself, there were 2 people in the lobby. TWO. If there was a long line of people waiting, I might could understand, but for someone to blatantly tell me that they aren't going to do their job, is completely ridiculous. Especially when there is only ONE other patient waiting. So, if you combine this with another lady who came out from the back tossing her clipboard on the table for who knows what reason, and the male nurse who came out from behind a wall whenever Tiffany and I had our exchange of words trying to resolve the insurance verification, and him getting VERY vocal and loud and critical about a conversation he wasn't even a part of, I will most assuredly NOT be returning to this clinic for anything. I didn't even complete the visit today, I asked for the paperwork with my information on it back. This huge confrontation happened all because I visited this clinic for a sore throat, and one person wasn't going to do their job, and made that very clear. The customer service I experienced today was the worst I have ever experienced at any medical facility.

I have used this location as my go to when my primary care isn't available since I moved to KC in 2014. Other than some random billing issues I've never had a problem. I've seen them for a variety of issues and I've always been really impressed with the providers. They are knowledgeable and willing to listen, they understand that you're coming in out of desperation and do whatever they can to find you relief.

I went in for a ruptured ear drum an hour before closing, due to the extreme amount of pain I was in. I couldn't wait until morning but I didn't feel that I should take up time at the ER.I attempted to check in online but it isn't an option so close to closing. Luckily, there wasn't anyone waiting so I was checked in by the friendly receptionist and into a room within 5 minutes. The waiting area was clean, had coffee, water and other drinks, plenty of televisions and even a children's area with toys and books.The first nurse that saw me was compassionate and made small talk while getting my medical history. He told me stories about his line of work and even offered to have my companion come into the room with me if it made me feel more comfortable. He left and the nurse practitioner was in the room within minutes. She was also phenomenal and very sympathetic to my situation. She sent all of my prescriptions to the pharmacy of my choosing and they were ready when I arrived. The cost was minimal (I do have insurance) and I was out the door within 30 minutes of arriving.We will definitely utilize The Urgency Room again in the future if needed!
