I truly love this hospital as I was born here 47 yrs ago and my son was born there 17 yrs ago. My father had gotten an accident in 1995 and broke every bone in his face and was brought to TMC. Last year my mom almost died and was in for one month and she is still with me. My grandfather passed away there.nnHowever, there's no way I feel that it should've taken ER 6 1/2 hours to get through the emergency room tonight (disappointment). For the first hour I got pic line for blood and waited then the next two hours no one came to say anything or check in. At three and a half hours I had to walk over to the desk nurse (not rude but not welcoming) and say something before the new blonde nurse addressed why I was there. The positive thing was that I overheard a conversation (during earlier 6pm shift) which couldn't be helped due to the remodeling of the ER construction. The doctor that didn't assist me but was next to me was named Dr. Doyle I think. Her exceptional skills not to judge, but to inform such bad news to a person with an addiction and was getting other bad news had been done with professionalism, empathy, and good bedside, manners. The new team with my male nurse from Texas and the female blond nurse maybe Dr. JonA and the guy that did my Cat Scan all had bedside manners. Kudos to them.

Went in on a Saturday morning around 12am. Lobby wasn't full. Checkin staff was attentive.nPatients were called back in a timely matter. The staff who took care of me after they called me back were friendly and professional.nDr Doyle was very nice, patient and had a bubbly personality. I felt at ease with the diagnosis and comfortable enough to know it wasn't anything to worry about.nWith my experience, I feel that medical staff are a very important asset in our country. They are human too and they have things going on in their lives. If we all just try to be patient and understand they are doing their best to care for us, especially during staff shortages, the number of stars on the reviews won't come down from 5. And Patients are taken care of ASAP according to the severity of their injuries or health issues.nThank you TMC Staff. Keep up the faith and positive energy!!!

I have been three times recently to visit a friend in the cardiac care unit. I am writing because of how impressed I was with both the professionalism, helpfulness and kindness of the nursing staff. I had at least 5 different encounters and I was so impressed with each nurse that I felt compelled to leave this review. Whatver you are doing with your hiring practices, you have truly found an amazing group of individuals.

I went in to the emergency room a month ago. This hospital provided the best care!! I felt I needed to share because of the excellent care I received. I wasn't happy with the front desk at first because she was telling me I had to check in when I came in with chest pains? The nurse over heard and had me come right back. They did a chest X-ray, cardiograph. The doctor and nurses in the ER took really good care of me. They explained everything they were doing, asked questions about what happened and were pleasant and supportive. Got me taken care of that night. This is the hospital I will be using in Tucson If I ever need urgent care again! They are kind, supportive and give good care.

A couple of family members were patients here. They both had very serious life or death medical conditions and survived. I ud83dudc95 TMC . The hospital staff saved their lives. The Doctors and nurses including all other staff are truly professional. I attached some pictures of beautiful plants. The patio near unit 700 is nice. Some of the other patio's need more landscaping. Visitors enjoy nice landscaping. Thank You
