Hope I never have to go back. BUT if the need rises for expert , caring, and quick medical care this will be the first place I will be going.nMost places do not accept VA insurance for veterans. Effingham Express Care does.

I went in on a Saturday recently for a DOT physical. The staff was very kind and courteous. The doctor on call was excellent. They werenu2019t very busy so I was in and out in a short time. Highly recommend, I will return.

We have been here in the past and have had no issues. Please note, this review does not reflect the level of care they provide. This review reflects their refusal to provide care. If you have out of state insurance, this facility will turn you away and will not accept it. Their website did not make this clear. I do not doubt that this was a decision that they did not take lightly, but it is a decision which turns many potential customers away. Here we sit, visiting family for the holidays, and instead of providing needed care to us, they turn us away because they do not want to deal with the trouble that is associated with out of state insurance. Thatu2019s their decision and I respect their right to make their own decisions as it is their business. Having said that, it is my right and my decision to write a review which reflects my disappointment and disappointment with this decision. I feel this is disgraceful.nnIn Reply to Owner Response:nI do not wish ill will on here for anyone involved with this and I hope that this experience can lead to improvements, but your reply is in direct contradiction to our experience, and our experience was accurately depicted in my initial review.nnYou note in your reply that you accept out of state and in state insurance. This is not what we were told. We checked online prior to going here and your site states you accept our insurance. We have been here before and used this same policy. However, we were told that you spoke to the person at the desk just a day ago and told them that you can no longer accept out of state insurance. My wife was turned away and with no mention of a self pay option, which we would have considered.nnIu2019m sure you mean well here, but everything you stated is entirely misaligned with our experience.
