I have been going to this hospital steadily for about 4 years now and I can count one on one had the bad experiences Iu2019ve hadu2026which is two to three. They have a wonderful, caring staff and always do their best to make me feel better and more comfortable. It has a beautiful view of the city and the bay that you can enjoy as well. Iu2019m normally admitted when I come here and I live 45 minutes to an hour away. There is no other hospital that I go to. Thanks for always doing your best to accommodate me ud83dude0c

This hospital was pivotal in saving my ability to walk and was amazing with the care and understanding I was allowed. Being a visitor on vacation that became paralyzed from the shoulders down on my vacation was very intimidating. The nurses and doctors were very helpful in teaching me how to walk again and educating me about my condition.I truly believe my paralysis would have been permanent if it had happened at home in Kansas.

The hospital and staff from MDu2019s To caregivers to non pro crew are excellent. The only reason I didnu2019t give five stars is the food Prep and packaging. It troubles me to have healthy food wrapped in skin tight plastic, covering full of micro plastics, and forever chemicals that cancel out any benefits from healthy food

I have went here for a couple years now to only be strung along by one of their neurologists. UCSF are OBSESSED with Lumbar punctures and think it's the answer to EVERYTHING. They refuse to tell you what they're testing for and the tests get more painful/invasive/expensive everytime. I have not been given an answer other than, FND functional neurological disorder and that he refuses to treat it until I do more and more tests for a POTENTIAL neurological problem. This center will do nothing but waste your time, energy, and money. Do not take your loved ones here. UCSF is NOT what it used to be. They do not take your medical issues into accountance and will continue to do the testing that suits them. We are humans, not guinea pigs. When someone states and has medical proof they can't be shocked. That's means THEY CANT BE SHOCKED. No dose not mean, no at UCSF it means, wait till the patient is ready to say yes to whatever we wantThanks to UCSF neurology and Dr Pierre Martin I no longer trust ANY doctors and I'm not even 30. Please stay away from him and all UCSF doctors if you or your family ACTUALLY want help.

This is a combined rate:5+stars for nurses (they amazing!!!!!)and 3 stars to doctors. And again some doctors deserved 5 stars (attending doctors change every 3-4 days, then they will pass you to the next doctor). By the time the last doctor during my sonu2019s admission took over, he completely misrepresented the diagnosis all previous specialists had given my son based on test results and history of the illness, as well as the main reason my son was admitted to the hospital. He also refused to provide a consultation with specialists my sonu2019s PCP requested.Beautiful view from a private room on 13th floor
