I had a really frustrating experience here. I went in for a tuberculosis test required for my job, and was told Iu2019d get my results in 3 to 5 days. Itu2019s now been a week, so I went in to follow up. The same person who gave me the original timeline apologized and said she had given me the wrong informationu2014itu2019s actually 5 to 10 days. There was another test available that wouldu2019ve been quicker, but I had no way of knowing the difference between the two options. When I asked, they just told me one test was a single visit, and the other required two visits. I opted for the single visit test, since both seemed to indicate results would come back in about 3 days.nnNow, Iu2019m stuck waiting an additional 5 days, which is a huge problem for me because I need the results to access the hospital I work at. On top of that, during the blood draw, the same person had trouble finding my vein and had to bring in another person to help. Iu2019m not sure if she was still in training, but it was pretty concerning that they have people performing tests who seem so unsure of what theyu2019re doing. Overall, this place really needs to get their act together when it comes to both communication and competency.

I had not been feeling like myself for a couple of days. Was feeling foggy and couldnu2019t think straight. I was shaky the day before and hot and sweaty and just didnu2019t feel good. I contacted them and they got me in immediately. They were so kind and attentive; the whole staff. They really cared about how I was feeling and what I was going through. I would recommend them to anybody and everybody who needs someone to care about you and take care of you. Thank you so much!

After 12 years as a patient at Commonwealth Primary, I will soon be switching to be seen at AFC with David Cary, PA., in Glen Allen VA. He has the absolute best bedside manner, very professional, and cares about your better health. Much more than my primary care. They also have a fantastic staff at this location, from the front office staff, the nurse taking vitals, to being seen by the PA. Everyone is so kind and professional. I will highly recommend this location to everyone I know! I'd give a rating of One Million stars if I could!! Thank you for caring about your patients!!

I woke up in the morning with a severe cough due to allergies and asthma. I easily scheduled my appointment online with zero issues and basic questions asked. When I arrived to the office, I was waited on immediately by a welcoming receptionist who quickly took my information and the office was extremely clean. I was seen very quickly and immediately seen by the triage professional making sure my profile was completed and lead to a patient room. The room was extremely clean and I only waited 1 minute until the Nurse Practitioner arrived. Nurse Practitioner David has an AMAZING bedside manner, compassionate, relatable, and very knowledgeable. He allows you to be apart of your healthcare and asks great questions to ensure you are taken care of. He sent in my prescription order immediately. By far the BEST urgent care experience and I am visiting from GA. u00a0I would 1000% recommend this provider!
