2/25/24: I thought I had to an ear infection. I thought I had the strep. Nope nope nope. Cough was due to allergy and pain was due to some kind of non-contagious viral infection in my throat. My ears and throat ached every time I tried to swallow. I went to Longwood Urgent Care on Friday to see what's wrong.The front desk receptionist, nurse, and doctor Cruz at Longwood Urgent Care were all friendly and welcoming. After reading reviews of all the urgent cares within 30 minutes from me, I chose them and glad I did. Dr. Cruz made my day. The pain went away the very next day and I can eat normally again within two days!Today, I had energy to stir up a pot of fuzzy squash soup (canh bu00ed) with carrots and broccoli cooked in my homemade pork bone broth with dried shrimp, flavored with lemongrass powder, ginger powder, fresh homegrown variegated Cuban Oregano and Thai Basil leaves.Thanks to Dr. Cruz, life is back to normal again for this foodie mama.

Donu2019t waste your time or money going to this place. They canu2019t find your information and donu2019t return phone calls or call in prescriptions. Calling them constantly and being on hold forever to fight with them about the fact I am a primary patient there got old. If you have to fight with people to do business and take your money, find another doctor!!

This is my first time to this urgent care. Had called a monday morning, had to wait a couple of hours for a Dr to be in. Went for a swollen ankle. Nurses polite, Dr. was nice. I felt as if things were all a little off. Now I know why. Not very organized or know how or where to get resources of information. I had to take x-rays across the street at simonmed. I went straight from the Dr office. Why is it a whole week now and I still haven't gotten my test results for x-rays. A few not just one person. Couldn't find my info. Mind u, it should've taken no more than 3 days MAX. Here it is going on next monday!!! And still no results. Because either they can't find your information, or they have u call simonmed because its clear they dont know where to look for info. I got so familiar with calling so many times. I was helping them find my info. AND still unable to get my results. They give u the run around and excuse how they don't really know where your information is. Why am I explaining every call in detail when you should have it! Not verification information I'm talking about when I was there, where did they send me for x-rays etc. I had to do the whole run down on almost every call. Again, still waiting for my results!!!

Today I had a nuclear stress test and was cared by Ana and Maria. These two magnificent ladies were professional, kind and very informative during the entire 4 hour process. Getting a stress test for the first time can indeed be very 'STRESSFUL'. However, the staff here made the entire process as easy as can be. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs to go through this procedure.

Would only come here again due to Yari. Yari took the time and effort that NOBODY else would ever take to assist me with my insurance. After being thrown around and told I donu2019t have medical coverage only pharmacy coverage, I was becoming frustrated especially after verifying I did have medical coverage through my provider. Yari took the time to listen to me and find out the answer and get me in for service even when no one else was willing to take the time to help me. Because of Yari, I was able to use my insurance that I have and I felt very appreciated and cared for. Yari - you are incredible and if you ever see this just know I am so thankful for you today and I really hope your management sees this and recognizes you for the amazing employee and person you are!
