OU ER is the WORST ER you could possibly go to. I donu2019t know about staff being u201crudeu201d but they are SEVERELY understaffed. My mum came in with all the textbook signs of a heart attack and she was not feeling well at all and we have been waiting for 4 hours.nAVOID this ER.nThere are so many better options.nnOU- DO BETTER. this is grossly unfair to not just the patients you serve but also your staff. I have witnessed the nurse at the front be confronted over and over about when they will get their loved one back and the nurse keeping her full composure said u201citu2019s just 2 of us back here.u201d Meanwhile there is a FULL waiting room of people looking like they are on their death bed.nnUPDATING TO ADD:nI witnessed people LAYING down on the FLOOR in the waiting room from waiting 6+ hours, a girl SOBBING nonstop from being in so much pain with no aid, and my mum is STILL here waiting on new results. We have now been here 8 hours!!! And out of all that time, we have been in contact with some kind of staff for MAYBE 20 minutes combined.nThis is completely unacceptable.

It's not the fact that I was there for 12 hours but Noone updated me on what the plan was for me so I stayed in the open cubicles they have for 4 plus hours in pain crying after I told the nurse ho2 bad I was hurting. I do not recommend this hospital. It looks nice on the outside but poorly ran on inside. I specifically heard the nurses talking in front of patience stating this is the lowest care that you could get here. 100 percent true!!! No privacy where they keep patience getting care. I knew everything about the person on front of me, beside me and etc within 10 minutes. Asking for ss# for admitting right beside and in front of others. I'm like can I whisper it to you!!!!

ICU trauma unit is the best! Son has been here for 3 weeks now and Iu2019ve seen nothing but the best possible care from this team. This is coming from a Texas resident too, so you know thatu2019s hard to say Lol! Happy to see outstanding care when youu2019re away from home. Thank you OU HEALTH of Oklahoma. u2764ufe0f

The Emergency Department is so disgusting. My son is a kidney transplant patient and has just move to the adult hospital from childrenu2019s. He Is Immunocompromised and can get sick with anything very easily. When we got there we got put in a pod in a chair and blood splatters all over the floor Iu2019m not sure if anything got wiped off. Then we get moved to another room it was ok at least he was isolated and it look decent on the cleaning but when we went to get a imaging done they had moved us without us knowing to a room that wasnt even cleaned yet because of wrong info put on paper and then the room we get in has this nasty yellow stuff on the floor that looked like urine or something yellow. So I tell the nurse she calls the cleaning lady then she comes in and says we must have spilled something there and I told her no we just got here like wth. Send your cleaning people back to training!! They are gonna cause innocent people like my son to get more sick from their negligence!!!

Absolutely SHAMEFUL treatment and experience with this ER. My Mother had brain surgery here last Thursday and every single member of the surgical staff and nurses were nothing short of amazing. Absolutely went above and beyond. Have been in the ER since 11 p.m. yesterday and the entire experience has been unreasonably awful. Horrible bed side manner and just mannerisms in general. Disappointing, frustrating, and an extreme lack of professionalism.
