Previously satsfied but saw new Dr for a cough & not going back, no one asked about changes in my meds or conditions, Dr was ready to prescribe without any physical exam, no looking in my throat, checking lymph nodes. He was ready to prescribe when I asked him to listen to my breathing because chest was tight he thought maybe heard something or maybe not hard to tell thru my clothes, did not give me any confidence

Only been to UMD urgent care in Long Island City for Covid testing and probably did like 7-8 tests. Staff is super friendly especially comparing to other testing places that it wasnu2019t the case. I usually get the results very quick (including pcr). Line/ queue is never bad / long

I would not recommend coming to this urgent care facility for anything other than COVID testing. For any visit requiring a discussion with a doctor, you will be severely disappointed.I went to UMD for a PCR COVID test several weeks ago and it was fine. Only waited about 15 minutes, was quickly given the test, and was out the door with results arriving within 2 days.However, I recently went back for a non-COVID related issue and had to wait to see a doctor to discuss. After waiting 30 minutes, I was shown into an exam room and explained the reason for my visit to the nurse. After the nurse left, I waited an additional 15-20 minutes until the doctor finally arrived. The doctor (I didn't even catch his name) quickly gave me his best guess for treatment and, instead of listening to any of my questions, quickly cut off any attempt for a discussion by saying that he doesn't have time to speculate and has to see 30 more patients but would otherwise be happy to discuss. He even recommended that I come back on a weekday during lunch when it would be slower! I have never been treated in such a disrespectful manner by a doctor - I will save this review from the obscenities that immediately come to mind. Then, as I sat there completely stunned by his lack of professionalism, the doctor finished by saying, while literally looking at his watch, that he only had 30 more seconds for me and was stepping out of the exam room. I couldn't believe my ears.After leaving UMD and Dr. Expletive-Deleted, I went to CityMD by Queensboro Plaza for a second opinion and had a MUCH better experience - see my review there if you're looking for an urgent care facility in Long Island City.I will never be returning to UMD and would NOT recommend anyone to go there for urgent care needs.

This is THEEE most amazing urgent care! The love, support, care, & above and beyond support is awesome!Iu2019ll share the latest. I had shortness of breath badly & went to Mt Sinai at midnight I was there until 3am hadnu2019t seen ONE doctor and no one checked on me since triage. I literally walked out the ER with my hospital bracelet on.Went to UMD when it opened and was in and out in an hour WITH having an X-ray AND bloodwork done with results of bloodwork within 48hrs of why I couldnu2019t breathe & my results fwd to my pcp.In April I had to get an IV for dehydration they provided it to me right there. I didnu2019t need to go anywhere else for it and I was put in a room, with a blanket with the lights off and a warm green night light. I rested & got immediate hydration. My iron was super low and I was fatigued so badly so I needed that love and supporting environment.I felt so seen, cared for and not thrown off to my pcp (who is far) or another facility.Iu2019ve been going for over 2 years since living here! If they werenu2019t closed I couldu2019ve spared myself the agony of ER this time around.So grateful for EVERYONE on that team!And the lollipops help too lol.

The service was crazy fast and I had no wait time!! Dr Mohammed was so sweet and knowledgeable during my visit. The whole staff was really attentive and I would definitely come back. Also very clean!
