As always, my visit was visit to Granite Pointe Eye Care was both enjoyable and pleasant. The staff are helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. My optometrist did a thorough eye exam and gave me excellent advice about what type of lenses I should purchase for my career as a professional driver. My family and I have been coming here for many years for all our eye care needs. Great quality products as well!!

My daughter has been coming to this office for a few years now. Her last appointment went much differently then it has in the past. They were behind and she was seen past her appointment time. That happens not a big deal. She had to see a different eye doctor then she had in the past. She saw Dr. Matsuo. I don't know if she was just having a bad day but she was rude the entire appointment. She didn't seem to listen to my questions very well. She was not clear with certain things and seemed annoyed I even had questions. She also seemed to just go through the motions of the appointment.nThe biggest reason I am even righting a review is because the communication from when I made the appointment until now has been unacceptable. When I initially made her appointment I said it was manly for contacts. We did not find out until towards the end of her appointment that since she has not had contacts before she would need to be trained on them. No problem, I knew that as I wore contacts for over a decade. But what we didn't know and was not communicated until the end of her appointment was that they do not do them the same day and we would have to come back on a Monday or Friday only. If we knew that from the beginning we would have made other arrangements. It was hard enough to find the time with my daughters schedule to make it to that original appointment. So now she has to miss even more school or practice or work for the training. On top of that when I called to reschedule the training (because of my daughters very busy schedule) I asked to speak to the manager and they said that she would call me. Its been 2 1/2 days and I have yet to receive a call.nSo now because they did not communicate everything from the beginning we have no choice but to work with them to get my daughters contact prescription and training since she has already had her exam for the year. This has been beyond frustrating and we will be going else where in the future.
