My visit to this clinic today was exceptional. From the front desk to the provider, everyone was friendly, pleasant, listened to my concerns, and just all around were very helpful. The nurse tech was very kind and Dawn (nurse) and Christina (PA) took great care of me.

It was not a good experience. I was there for being extremely sick already. And when I left I was getting sicker and my problem was not addressed or fixed. I had to leave there and go to the emergency room where I was immediately admitted and my emergency surgery was scheduled the next morning. Then stayed at the hospital for 2 days after the surgery. I had so much infection in my appendix it was honestly scary. Had a lesion/ ruptured area on appendix as well. This office failed me to even guiding me to get health care that they couldnu2019t even provide me. I got nothing but u201chope you feel better soonu201d as I slowly walked in severe pain out the office. I paid my copay to prolong me into something severe that could have possibly taken my life if my appendix had fully ruptured! I was in their care at their mercy to medically help me! And I got ignored.

I was the first patient on a Sunday morning when their doors opened. I have been sick for almost 2 weeks with what I thought was a cold and would likely pass. It didnu2019t. My cough progressively got worse and I couldnu2019t sleep because I would wake quickly, choking and barely able to breathe. The doctor at Lake Urgent Care listened to my breathing with a stethoscope and told me that u201cthereu2019s fluidu201d but it will go away in a week or so. He then proceeded to give me a lecture on how OTC medications donu2019t work and all I need is a saline nasal spray. I received no shot or antibiotics or even a, u201cHey, those lungs donu2019t seem right, letu2019s check them again.u201d I was sent on my way with a script for a cough suppressant and that was it. By Wednesday I was in agony. I was able to visit my PCP. She examined me and immediately told me that I have pneumonia and that if I hadnu2019t come in when I did, it could have been dire. Iu2019m on the mend now. But my family and I are worried that others will visit this clinic and receive the same poor quality of care that could result in something consequential being ignored or overlooked entirely.

Iu2019ve visited this location many times in the pass but my last visit was the worst! The front desk rep. was Phenomenal , great an attitude!nnHowever , once I was called to the back things changed. I spoke to Crystal Edwards NP. She didnu2019t speak back . I didnu2019t care about that , but once I was finish with all 3 of the rapid test that u201cAllegedly u201d came back negative she prescribed some meds that I knew for a fact didnu2019t work.nnI asked her for the meds that I knew in fact wired and she told me u201c I donu2019t prescribe that medu201d ! She was so rude and unprofessional!nI have previously been prescribed thoses meds several times .nnIu2019m not sure what is going on at this location but the professionalism and disrespect is at our all-time high! I call for the manager and the Rep Danielle told me that she canu2019t give the manager name out and she donu2019t know when will I get a return callu2026 I then ask her for her name and she told me u201cIu2019m not telling you my nameu201d but she forgot she had already told me ud83eudd14
