As a disabled Marine Corps veteran I receive my primary care at the VA Medical Center; however, recently I was referred here to USC for a medical condition I could not obtain care for at the VA. Since coming to USC I have found this hospital to be a complete contrast to the care I receive at the VA.All of the staff are attentive, patient, and helpful. The facilities are clean and not overcrowded. And every appointment I have come in for I have never had to wait for more than a few minutes to see the provider. The providers also take the time to actually listen to my concerns and offer effective solutions to receive care.I only wish I could receive all of my healthcare at this facility. If I were lucky enough to receive care here I would be very thankful to be so fortunate.

BEWARE!!!! If i could give 0 stars I would. I went to the hospital in February and gave them my insurance card. My insurance fully covers hospital visits, and has for every single hospital visit I've ever had. I was seen at the Good Samaritan hospital but the provider was from USC Care medical group, so I got a separate bill for them. Whenever I got the two separate bills, they were both high so I called to see what the issue was. The hospital stated they didn't have my insurance information even though I gave it to them the day of treatment. I updated Good Samaritan and shortly after got the corrected bill. Whenever I tried to contact USC Care Medical Group to update them on the correct information they didn't respond. I've sent them multiple emails, and have been calling daily for six months. I've left voicemails and haven't gotten a single response. This week I received a letter from a debt collection agency stating that USC Care Medical Group had sent me to collections. I finally got in contact with a person today for the first time in six months. She was extremely rude and unprofessional, and kept stating she wasn't sure if my insurance would cover it, and that I would have to contact them myself. I refused and she eventually said that she would do it, but said it could take up to 40 business days. I asked her what that meant as far as the debt collection agency and she stated that she wasn't sure and that I would have to figure it out myself. She said that they haven't gotten a call from me, and that they just got one voicemail today, when I have been calling and leaving voicemails since March. They also said they didn't have the correct phone number for me when I've had the same number for years and that has never changed. This is the worst experience i have ever had in healthcare, and these people truly shouldn't be operating to this day. This has been such a headache all because people cannot do their job correctly. It's not hard to answer the phone or reply to an email. DO NOT GO HERE.

My doctor suggested I transfer to USC Keck and I had my charts and info sent over within a few days. It took over two months to get placed with a doctor and multiple calls, always with the same excuse, leading to the guy that places patients with doctors. I had to insist on speaking to a manager. If they don't want my business, I will go elsewhere.

GREAT Doctors, billing has been , at times, a nightmare to get sorted out. My insurance company denied the claim A coding error was detected. Payment of this pre-operative visit was included in the surgical procedure payment Keck promised to call to discuss after reviewing the file but hasn't. A filed a BBB report against them to which they never responded. Now Keck has sent this to collections. I finally just paid it to make it go away. To be fair other times they have been great with billing. Itu2019s just sometimes you just canu2019t reach the right person to work things out. Late 2018 things seem to have improved from a few years ago..

I go there mostly to the neurology Dept. The Dr's have been good. I've been a patient there for several years. But their billing is the most HORRIBLE thing. Many times I have been billed for the same service more than once and it takes several calls and weeks/months to resolve my situation. I have complained a few times about this but no success. And probably my biggest complain is the way they have increased their prices for simple medical services, services for which I used to pay a lot less before.
