This place overcharges for the services it provides. I have excellent insurance and have visited before using the same plan. Previously, my copay was $75u2014but during my most recent visit, it jumped to $275. I called my insurance company to find out why, and they confirmed that nothing had changed with my coverage or the copay amounts. This provider is also listed as in-network. Unless you're willing to pay $275 for a COVID test, I recommend going elsewhere.

I had been to other NextCare clinics and all provided good service. This clinic has some problems.nnI was a walk in and had to wait approximately an hour, which was ok as I did not have an appointment. I was provided two prescription for my condition. That day I took the prescriptions but latter that night when I got up from bed I was extremely dizzy and almost fell down. The next morning when I woke up I was still extremely dizzy. I called the clinic and they took all my information regarding the problem, told me not to take any more of the medication that was prescribed. They said a provider would call me back to review the situation with me.nThey NEVER called back. Two days later I returned home, as I was vacationing in Scottsdale. I called my family Dr, got an immediate appointment and got a new medication.

Even though I had appointment, they were running 40 mins behind. After that I had to wait another 30 mins in the room. With a 2 year old. We were there because of her.nI did like that mostly everyone was nice. Only 1 lady had zero empathy & no customer service skills but she left the front after a different lady came & sat down. I hope she doesn't come in to contact with too many patients.

I literally walked out and told friend/family not to use this urgent care. Reception was amazing. Like I loved person who helped me get started. She was so kind and helpful and caringnnThe doctor did not give me a full exam, verbally stated several times. He did not know what he was doing or talking about, and would not use words like uterus or vagina or anything that refers to the female genitalia really. He kept asking me what I thought I had which the reason I was there was. I didn't know if I had anything and was scared cuz I wasn't feeling well. Then he said that he didn't know why I wasn't feeling well, because it was pretty sure it wasn't anything that he knew of. Then he asked me whether or not I wanted to be medicated for the problems I was having. He said he didn't think they would work, but if I insisted that I didn't feel well I might as well take meds. He specifically stated that the meds he was giving me weren't for what I had, but it was the only ones who was going to give me and so I took them. I am glad I got those meds. I am upset that I still don't know what's going on with me because he stated several times. He doesn't know what goes on with periods and the female body.nnI paid a lot of money to get less information than I got from a Facebook page (that's why I agreed to take the meds that he offered was good specifically on the female health Facebook page that I'm part of. They said that is what they needed to take under similar circumstances and that helped themnnI am very frustrated, I am very much not feeling well, I am hoping the meds do their job, but I don't know why I paid so much money to not be helped. The best experience I have from the doctor was at least he admitted that he didn't know what he was talking about.

I went in due to a rash on my genitals. I have been married for many years and used to get regular STD screenings, so I was extremely confident it was an allergic reaction or dermatitis.nnOnce I went in the back and the doctor (I believe his name was Juan) took a look, he immediately said it was herpes and there was no reason to believe it was anything else due to there being u201cblistersu201d. There was one dot that was obviously not a blister but the main rash looked identical to everything you find online showing dermatitis. I said many times that it is really hard to believe this could be herpes and he kept insisting that I have probably had it for a very long time and it is just now beginning to show.nnHe decided to take a swab test, still not humoring anything besides herpes, walks out into the corridor and says u201ctest for herpesu201d loud enough that I could hear it in the room with the door closed. Absolutely insane that every single nurse and patient now has to know that I am there for a herpes test.nnEventually he comes back and provides a script for a cream for dermatitis, mentioning that they are only giving me a tiny amount due to this being herpes and believes it will have no effect.nnFast forward two days later, guess what, NEGATIVE for herpes, exactly as I thought.nnBeing a married man, this doctor could have potentially ruined my marriage. Luckily I am in a very good relationship where cheating isnu2019t even a thought, so we were confident that wasnu2019t the case, but if that was said to the wrong person, that could lead to major issues in their home life and cause an argument between spouses that may not be fixable after the fact.nnDo better at listening your patients, at least humor them and look into what they are claiming to believe it is. I get it, at the end of the day, you are the doctor, but itu2019s your job to ask the right questions and review other options no matter how u201cpositiveu201d you are about a diagnosis.nnI will never return to NextCare, I am also going to try and dispute the ridiculous charges that they applied. Total waste of my copay and the bills that I will be receiving for this useless test.nnStay away from this place at all costs.nnUpdate - tried calling multiple times to speak with a manager regarding this process. 6 different calls throughout the day, not a single answer. This place is trash.
