TLDR: If you are in search of a pediatric doctor, stop now and just get an appointment with Dr. Valencia. You will not regret it. You may regret NOT going to him first.nnWe had initially gone to a different urgent care in Forest Hills, but was turned down due to my child's age. They recommended a different pediatric urgent care with not-so-great reviews. All I can say is that we are extremely thankful that God provided us with Dr. Valencia's urgent care in our search. Don't let the distance or the difficulty in finding parking stop you from visiting this practice. This is a phenomenal pediatric urgent care. The entire practice is super clean, tidy and well-kept. We were greeted by Lisette upon entering. She is super personable and extremely kind. My child was not feeling well and asked for water. Lisette gave me her personal unopened water bottle. I tried to pay her, but she very kindly and generously declined. We had out-of-state insurance and she processed everything without issues. We were seen by Dr. Valencia shortly after and his bedside manners are absolutely superb. He interacted well with everyone. He is sincere in his care and is a great listener. We were unable to find parking, so I video chatted with my husband and Dr. Valencia greeted him very personably. My mother accompanied my child and I for the visit and Grandma is a tough critic and said what a great doctor Dr. Valencia is. My child went home feeling better with a lollipop and a very cool coloring kit. Unlike other urgent cares, we were not just a number that was to be rushed to cushion the bottom line. Dr. Valencia and Lisette listened diligently, asked appropriate questions and ran helpful tests to help my child feel better. I am forever grateful and will never forget their care and kindness. Be sure to remember Dr. Jonathan Valencia's name. I trust that the Lord will bless him abundantly and when his practice grows and he moves to a bigger location, you'll need to search his name to find his practice. Thank you Jesus for blessing our paths to cross.nnWe received a call from Dr. Valencia the next day and he patiently and thoroughly reviewed the results with us and answered any and all of our questions. I had an absolutely wonderful experience with this doctor. Itu2019s rare to find a healthcare professional who genuinely cares for your child as much as you do. From the moment we walked in, it was clear that the doctor not only took the time to listen to our concerns but also was deeply committed to addressing our childu2019s health issues. Finding an urgent care near by is easy but finding such a profesional doctor and one that actually cares about his patients is hard. When seeing my daughter he listened to her and made sure he really checked her before testing and diagnosing her. As we were there he also helped me with my son and some concerns that I had about him, although I did not have an appointment for my son he still accommodated us and helped me with my concerns. Thank you for the care and also the receptionist that helped us out.

Dr. Valencia was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful with my very feisty 14 month old. The nurse was also very helpful and gentle with handling my son, & the receptionist was also helpful in giving me all the paperwork and information that I needed. The place is very spacious and organized, it was empty when I visited Monday night and that was amazing because we were able to be seen right away. I really love that they offer late hours because I hate taking my children to the ER and having a Pediatric Urgent Care nearby is so convenient. I would definitely recommend to other parents.

The care was excellent! The facility is impeccably clean. I never had a doctor spend more than 20 min with my baby before, if I could switch pediatricians I would, unfortunately they donu2019t accept my babyu2019s insurance. Dr Valencia was compassionate, thorough and knowledgable. I recommend this pediatrician 100%, just try calling before you go to see if they take your insurance.
