As a mother of a special needs child, I am beyond disappointed and deeply concerned about the care we received at valley children'snI brought my baby in twice u2014 once for breathing difficulties, and the second time for breathing problems combined with a fever. Both times, all they did was a nose swab and a chest X-ray u2014 nothing more.nnNo labs. No further imaging. No real investigation into what was causing her distress. On the second visit, my babyu2019s oxygen levels dropped into the 70s u2014 a visibly alarming issue that should have triggered immediate, thorough action. Yet once again, they skipped critical steps that could have provided real answers or led to proper treatment.nnInstead of focusing on her urgent medical needs, they questioned my attendance at appointments at another hospital u2014 even though I clearly explained that we had moved cities and transferred care to this facility. That line of questioning felt judgmental and completely inappropriate in an emergency situation.nnThis kind of neglect is unacceptable, especially for a medically vulnerable child. My daughter deserves to be treated like a human being, not brushed aside because of assumptions or lack of training. We come to hospitals for help u2014 not to be dismissed when it matters most.nnI truly hope this review encourages change and accountability. Special needs children need more care, not less. I'm leaving this here to document my concerns as I called costumer experience and patient relations and no call back has been received.

Valley Childrenu2019s Hospital is the place I always go to whenever my children are sick. I have a child with autism, and this hospital has been very helpful. Their service is excellent. The doctors, nurses, and staff are all very kind and supportive. The hospital is very clean and well-organized. We truly love this hospital.

my children have been here SEVERAL times over 7-8 years (ER, Nephrology, ENT) and from security to EVS to the MD Iu2019ve never had a bad experience with any department. Today my youngest son had surgery and the pre op and post op nurses were AMAZING and KIND. They explained everything thoroughly to me, were patient with me & my favorite moment was being able to speak to the anesthesiologist about sedation during the surgery. He was so thorough and gave me such a peace of mind that he would treat my child like his own, I knew my son was safe in the OR. Thank you Dr. Rowe and the entire OR team for taking care of my child today like your own. God bless you guys sincerely ! u2764ufe0fu2764ufe0fu2764ufe0f

We received treatment in a very quick time. Our PA answered my questions and listened and talked to my son and my self in a very respectful manner. Excellent care in the ER, our visit from the check in process to the nurse and all staff. Thank you for making this happen!

I am beyond blessed to have had The Valley Children's team take care of my daughter. From the momment we were taken back the nurses, doctors and entire staff was amazing. Keeping us updated on what was happening and what the next steps were. Every procedure i was fully informed and explained detail by detail.nnOnce admitted, the nurses were wildly loving and so genuinely caring . The doctors team were on top of making sure my daughters pain was controlled . They went above and beyond to test every inch to figure what was happening to her and why she was sick for so long.nnI have never experienced such care from a hospital staff. They are truly amazing at This children's hospital. I will never take my children elsewhere. We are 1.5 hours away but I am willing to make the drive as needed to have my children taken care of.nUnderstandably, the ER is busy and cannot receive the same attention. But I believe care starts from the moment you walk in. We waited 4 hours to b seen while my daughter had a fever and i had explained we had just left the ER and had to return bc she got worse. I was kind of brushed of.nnOverall thank you from the bottom of my heart, To all the nurses and doctors both at ER and admissions, the staff at tge cafeteria. You are truly angels for the work you do. Thank you thank youbud83dude4f
