I could not have been more happy with the staff and care at this location! I was traveling from Oklahoma City to Slidell, LA and in Texas at a stop I rolled my ankle BAD in the grass. I got guidance from the tricare nurse advice line to head to this facility for care. When I got there I was welcomed with happy faces and great vibes. The nurses were very kind and careful with me while I got X-rays and an exam. I came in unable to independently walk and I left in a boot, able to independently walk! Especially for it being the 4th Iu2019m thoroughly impressed with the quality of care! They were super accommodating with my service dog as well! Thank yu2019all so much and happy fourth!

Feb. 28. 2024 - Urgent Care VisitnnIF I COULD RATE THIS 0 STARS - I WOULD!!! I arrived at the urgent care at 1:30 PM. The lady that was sitting at the front desk with glasses ( young/ heavy set) was rude. After filling out paperwork, I was sitting in the waiting room for over 25 minutes (I was the only person inside the waiting room) NO ONE WAS IN THE BACK - while waiting on them to call me to the back, I notice they were laughing and making jokes etc. the front desk receptionist claim they were doing a shift change. A guy with a white shirt ( his name is Mark) was complaining about how CHRISTUS VelocityUrgent Care doesnu2019t get any business and etc. Then the lady in the gray scrubs ( her name is Brittany) she came to the front desk eating snacks and laughing etc with the front desk girls. Shortly, after they notice I was sitting in the front Mark called me to the back. He apologized several times for the wait. I have no complaints on him taking my vitals - he did his job. However, Brittany came in and I kid you not she had no COMPASSION. It was almost as if she didnu2019t want to touch me. I came in for a pulled muscle in my abdominal and upper back due to my concern of expecting with child. The questions she was asking me had nothing to do with what I was going through. It got to the point where I didnu2019t feel welcome nor heard about my care. She then goes and say u201c IT IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO, youu2019re pregnant and itu2019s going to get worst! ( she started to chuckles) u201c after reporting this situation- the lady told me she had just had a baby and came from maternity leave. I was shocked because I would not have thought she had kids on how she spoke to expecting mother.nnCustomer service was horrible - I can see why no one goes to this place.. if you have read this far. I bet you can guess what color I am!

My husband went in for care for head and chest congestion. The care he received was great, but the bedside manner of the PA was terrible.. He was rude and uncaring. Need to do better in hiring Christus!!!!!

Went in mid January and had a lackluster experience. The staff didnu2019t seem too friendly and I felt rushed. Went again last week because they already had my information on file and I was experiencing the same problems. The care was exceptional, both the tech and Dr were wonderful, reception was friendly. It was a much better experience. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day the first time around.nUpdate, took my daughter because the pediatrician was concerned but didn't have availability to see her. I think the bedside manner of the one female nurse could improve, she seems impatient and slightly unfriendly. Treats me like I don't know my own body or my child's.

The staff and Doctors here are simply Awesome. They have the know how. They take time with you and they honestly care about the patient. They do a great job on DOTS. Thanks Guys for your excellent service.nnUpdate if you owe these people money from a bill. They will disrespect you. Had to contact upper management that seem to care..
