Julie was great. Staff was fine too, there clearly isnu2019t enough of them though. Everything else was horrible. They encourage you to make an appointment but then take the walk-ins first. I made an appointment then waited an hour and a half to see anyone. The wait list said I was 3rd in line and that no walk-ins came while I was waiting. An hour and a half to see 2 people in front of me! I was there for a strep test. It takes 15 minutes to see the results. I waited in the patient room again for an hour and a half. There was only a single provider there! The facility was run down and all the equipment seems very old and noticeable rust on everything. It does not feel clean at all.nnTLDR; I made an appointment for a 15min test and waited 3 hours. I will not be going back ever.

I originally saw Jennie the nurse practitioner and she was good.. no one could find out what was wrong with me or why I was in so much pain. She saw me for about 30 seconds and told me she thought it was my hips not my lower back like I had thought. She ordered X-rays and sure enough I have a cam hip impingement , really bad arthritis and inflammation in my right hip. Since then Iu2019ve been seen twice by an NP Julie , the first time I went in to tell them the new pain medication they were giving me was not working and the old medication worked better , I asked if she could switch me back to the old medication because I am in terrible pain. She told me no, that she canu2019t prescribe stuff like that and I should go to the ER if itu2019s really that bad. She gave me a follow up appointment for today I went in and waited almost 4 hours to be seen, finally they took me back into an exam room and again, Julie came in and said she is the provider that would be seeing me today she asked me how Iu2019m doing I told her I was in a lot of pain and Iu2019m not doing good, she asked if I went to the ER the last time I saw her. I told her I did and that they donu2019t consider pain and emergency and that Iu2019m under her care so she should be taking care of me. I asked her if the referral had gone through to see the specialist (Iu2019ve been waiting 6 weeks now to hear from them) she told me to wait while she checked. She came back and told me she doesnu2019t know whatu2019s going on but it hasnu2019t gone through yet, that she would check with Kim to see why itu2019s taking so long. She then asked if that was my car outside the GTR (I have a rare modified skyline GTR that I imported from Japan) she said omg I have a 2013 gtr. She continued to talk and tell me about her car and if I could help her get her car registered out of state like I have done to mine. She continues to talk about her car and I told her Iu2019m in a lot of pain , she then asked me what am I doing for pain management ? I was so upset but I stayed calm and told her pain management ? Nothing no one will help me so I take ib profen and Tylenol and Iu2019m miserable all day. She told me she could refil my prescription for me and I told her thatu2019s the medication I came in to see you about the first time because itu2019s not working. She said oh okay Iu2019m sorry well , I hope you feel better and Iu2019ll check with Kim about the referral to the specialist and I have your number so Iu2019ll call you because my GTR registration is almost expired and I need to register it out of state. I was so upset , I am so upset u2026 this was the most unprofessional unhelpful u201cdoctors appointmentu201d Iu2019ve ever had. She was more concerned with registering her car then helping me in anyway shape or form. (There was more context mainly her talking about how much she liked my car and how she wants to do more mods to her car but Iu2019m trying to summarize for this review. There is a standard of care and I was not given that by her either of the times Iu2019ve seen her. The first time she wrote me off and lied to me about not being able to give me something prescribed for pain and told me I should just go to the ER if it was that bad, the second time all she cared about was if I could help her get her car registered out of state for her. Iu2019m so upset and frustrated , Iu2019m in so much pain all the time and this has been the worst experience Iu2019ve ever had with the medical system in my life.

I booked an appointment at Ventura Urgent Care expecting a timely visit, but unfortunately waited over two hours to be seen. I was prescribed an antibiotic and had a test done to determine if a switch in medication would be needed. The provider told me I would receive results the next dayu2014before flying home on Saturday.nnItu2019s now Monday, and I still havenu2019t heard anything. To make matters worse, the antibiotic I was put on caused serious side effects, and I ended up needing to visit another urgent care back home on Sunday.nnIu2019m extremely disappointed in the lack of follow-through and communication. This experience left me feeling neglected and unsafe. I would not return here and would not recommend this facility to friends or family

I needed to get an ekg and just finding a place besides the hospital that would do it was a pain but Ventura Urgent care got me right in. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. The Doctor was great, the nurse (I believe her name was Amanda) she was amazing! This is definitely my go to urgent care from now on! All around great people-

I waited two hours in the waiting room then another hour-and-a-half to see the doctor after getting in a room. The excuse given was that they normally have two doctors on duty but they had only one that day. I was very pleased with the doctor; however, almost 4 hours of waiting is simply unacceptable.
