Short version: Overall for annual check-ups, itu2019s fine. But if youu2019re expecting good/specific patient care, a helpful doctor who is free to treat how they feel best, etc. go elsewhere. You wonu2019t have time to build a relationship with a doctor before they quit!nnLong version: My (and probably a good number of peopleu2019s) experience here is you see a primary care doctor for 1-2 years and then they quit.nnI suspect Vanderbilt is running these doctors ragged seeing too many patients ($$$) and/or Vandy has policies/procedures for patient care that are too u201cone-size-fits-allu201d so the doctors arenu2019t free to meet their patients needs and quit.nnIu2019ve also been told by two separate doctors there now that Vanderbilt has strict policies regarding what doctors can/canu2019t discuss when it comes to diet & exercise (a la weight related things). The overall tone seemed to suggest that Vandy doesnu2019t want to get sued for u201cfat shamingu201d when in reality their health is being affected by their obesity. The food advice Iu2019ve been given here seems to confirm that as it lines up with a cereal commercial from the 1990s where they tell you some sugary cereal is good for you to eat first thing in the morning.nnAdditionally, seems like a grim place to work. Just walking around in the office, all the employees there look like they forgot to take their antidepressants. Probably low pay and high turnover of nurses

I was at this building for State Farm a few weeks ago & it turned out the elevator was not working ...I ended up at Vanderbilt trying to figure out how to get there....came across a lady asked her & she most graciously took me there which was quite out of the way ....she could've said take the stairs or I don't know because I wasn't visiting her office....there was so much warmth & courtesy that I felt I owed her this big thankyou Valerie Budd!nYou are certainly someone your clients must love.

I usually never write reviews that are negative but I think this needs to be known. I was a patient at this clinic for at least ten years and loved Dr. Linn but she left and I made an appointment with another physician who has been there for years and was accepting new patients. A few months later the office staff called me to tell me that they cancelled my appointment because Dr. Stober would not take any patients of Dr. Linn. They were trying to force me to see the new physician taking Dr. Linnu2019s place who I knew nothing about. They left me high and dry being on several meds which I canu2019t just quit taking, causing great anxiety. I had my reasons for not making an appointment with the new MD. Terrible clinic practice to drop patients like that. Obviously doctors can be selective who they want as a patient and who they can leave high and dry. Needless to say, I found another primary care MD elsewhere who I researched and was recommended by friends who see her, so it was meant to be and probably for the best. I miss Dr.Linn and no MD will ever come close to her kindness and encouragement. I miss her! That being said, the being dropped as a patient, who has never given them an ounce of problem, was a disappointing situation and I hope they donu2019t treat any other person this way. This was the first time I have had issue with this clinic but it was a rather significant issue to overlook. I would give them 5 stars prior to all this.

Staff could not be nicer here. From the front desk to the woman that does lab work everyone is both professional and friendly. I have seen a couple of the physicians and have been very pleased with the care I have received. It is not a walk in clinic and you need to have an appointment. I highly recommend Vanderbilt Primary Care.

I was very surprised by how great this office is. Being used to having my time wasted by countless other doctor offices that schedule you for a time then keep you waiting in the waiting room for up to an hour after your appointment, my expectations were low -- but after getting in 20 mins early (was told to be 15 mins early), I was to my surprise seen just about on time. Everyone was very helpful and friendly! I recommend this office!
